Great value waterfront street food

Conveniently situated on Sliema's esplanade opposite the posh Waterfront Hotel, the Millennium is a basic traditional Turkish fast-food joint that wouldn't be out of place in Istanbul or Ankara. It's clean, service is swift and friendly, and everything is cooked off in front of you. Turnover is... read more

The Millenium Turkish Kebab is located at the border between Sliema and Gzira, and is a popular place among those who want something good, fast and cheap at late hours. The meals served here include a few types of kebabs (I've thried the chicken one and it's really good) and other turkish specialities.

More a cafe, we ordered just one plate to share. He had the meat, and I had most of the salads. It came with four different salads, plus chips and pitta bread. The salads were amazing!! One was lovely and spicy hot. We only wanted a snack, and were well satisfied, cost us only €8-50 which was good value for money.

Great for a quick lunch or dinner with indoor and outdoor seating. The place is nothing speacial but the food is great and fresh. You must defiantely try the beef steaks or chicken breast with your selection of salad from euro 8.50 Parking is a bit of a hassle but once sorted you are ready to taste the best of turkish food.

I was staying in while my Other Half was going out with his co-workers so instead of cooking, I asked about a good kebab place because I saw so many around in Sliema. He said all his co-workers always ate at Millennium (partly because it's on their way home after a night in a pub). The bistro was just around... More

After being one of my top turkish places in Malta... it surely be removed from the top list! Realized he has put prices up by 1 euro and even reduced the size.... price changes he said were 6 months ago... well not my pick anymore for something higher in price and not worth that price!

Was looking for something quick so decided to try this place just around the corner from the Hilton, in between Portomaso Bay and St George's. Wished we hadn't as the service was very average and the food was the same. The salad was terrible, and we had to ask for sauces to go with our kebabs. I wasn't expecting a... More

Tasteless, confusing, dry and chewy meat. We have kebabs in Australia, too. But it is never as confusing as this one. We ordered two wraps, one mixed meat, one lamb. I couldn't even finish half of mine, HORRIBLE!

After reading reviews on TA I had this place on my list of places to eat late at night. OK but nothing special. We couldnt sit outside as all tables were taken on a saturday night, there is a dining area at the back which is a bit dingy. We have the "plates". Good sized portion for about 6.50. We... More

First, I found the service here not particularly friendly or efficient on my two visits. It was relatively quiet when I came, so I would be a bit worried if it were a busy evening. Second, the salads and sides are great. The first time I only purchased a large platter of sides, all of which were well done. Finally,... More
