Don't walk past this restaurant

I have dined here three times and the food has been very good every time, the sea food risotto was excellent, can get very busy early evening.

As we were searching for food, walking by the sea front. Checking out the menu and the waiter approached us and telling us there specials today etc, so we said give it a go. Price was decent, food was good, we also return for a full English Bedfast the next day. Service was good. This was the only place buzzing,... More

We just had a dining experience from hell in this so called “Italian” restaurant. We spend a lot of time in Malta and have been to a lot of restaurants and have our favourites, but on this occasion decided to try something new – huge mistake! The prices were not cheap and, being very hungry, we were anticipating to be... More

We had two lunch time meals at this restaurant which were excellent authentic Sicilian cuisine, only to be expected as the owner and the chef were Sicilians. The service was very good and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of wines which along with the food wasn't too expensive.

If looking for authentic italian pizza.. Then please go elsewhere . Two pizzas returned manager still expecting bill 30 euro for two pizzas and bottle wine paid. Manager total coward. . Stay away... this is after complaining to manager. . Pizza cold. One quite watery.. be warned... sub standard food.

Had 2 carbonara which were very good. Service good and prices not expensive. The lunchtime we called was very busy - nothing much happening at the restaurant across the forecourt - so we must have chosen the best place. Lovely to sit out in the sunshine.

Arrived in Malta quite late in the evening so was looking to eat about 10pm on a Sunday evening. Not many place were open but this cafe was buzzing! Simple Italian menu but we opted for two pizzas. Service was friendly and fast and the pizza was delicious. Good value. Would go again, maybe on a lunchtime next time as... More

We went into Cafe Sicilia for lunch and returned 3 times afterwards for more lunch and evening meals. Simple food, but very tasty pizzas, pastas and soups. Also very reasonable for desserts and coffees. Very friendly staff, prompt service and excellent value for money.

We were visiting Sliema with a friend and stopped at the Sicilia because it looked clean and had a table available - some places looked scruffy. Ordered a Sicilian pizza with apple juice and fizzy water. Service was excellent, waiting staff were prompt and friendly. The pizza was excellent and was sufficient for three of us as a lunchtime snack.... More
