Let me just mention that I am not reviewing the sushi here. I am not a sushi eater and from what I could see it looked fresh and interesting. I had a chicken dish and dumplings. The chicken noodle dish was a bit tasteless and extremely oily. Not something I care to put into my body again. I was also... More

Pleasant environment, clean, open plan and outdoor seating if you fancy it. We like it here as the food is great, the price is great, the service varies - but this is seasonal staff, so you need to allow for the odd mishap. In short, thirty euros gets a good quantity of amazingly tasty, well presented and beautifully made sushi... More

Very bad service. Unfriendly and slow staff. Me and My dad was ordering coffe and icecream. We waited for 25 minutes for our order to come and then just one of us get our icecream cause they are telling that my fathers order was out in stock. Why didnt they tell him that earlier?!? We went very disapointed. And also,,... More

I live in Malta and have tried almost all the sushi places on the island including the very expensive ones and I always end up returning to Sakura. It's the best sushi i've ever had, as well as the other dishes I've had have always been delicious. I actually get cravings for it all the time meaning I've been there... More

We ate here a few times over 2 trips to Malta. Most recently, we ordered a combination sushi platter which was served with half the sushi having cooked meat in it. We asked the server for fish instead and were told we shouldn't have ordered this dish! We then spoke to the manager who also suggested we should have ordered... More

Loved the food and will return. The terrace sea-view is a great asset as well. Waitress helped us to choose from the menu and the food photos helped

This place didn't come highly recommended at all and word of mouth is that it's actually quite horrible (a coworker had a piece of metal in his food an cut his tongue), but it looked nice and we were hungry, so we decided to give it a shot anyway. To be fair - we went there at the day of... More

Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered sushi which was delicious and fresh, though we waited a while to get it. They focus on their take-away costumers which makes the service slow. The staff is friendly and helpfull.

Popped in for lunch one hot day. Not over keen on Japanese Cuisine, so opted for a Chicken Rucola Baguette - it was colossal and stuffed with Chicken and Rocket - excellent value at €3.95. Had a cold beer with it - perfection. Would happily return!
