We celebrated the birthdays of 2 friends over the weekend. Must admit the place has undergone a big transformation and it looks very smart. Lunch menu is rather limited contrary to the big choice of wines. We had cotolletta, which was well cooked, salad, nothing to write home about, risotto, ditto and fresh Sicilian mussels, which tasted terrible and certainly... More

I am resident of Sliema and Vino Veritas is my top 1 restaurant locally. The chef creates wonderful dishes full of flavor. According to my husband he had the best lamb of his life in Vino Veritas. I enjoy the duck or different fish dishes, which are specialties of this place. The dishes are served large, the Maltese way. The... More

This is the hidden food gem of Silema. We had fillet steak on our first visit, it was so good we went back and ate Lamb. The Chef and head waiter both spent time with us and explained the menu and gave us the opportunity to add vegetables and salads. Go there you won't be disappointed, it's more than good... More

Behind the minimalistic front is a special chef, supported by friendly courteous and ever attendant unobtrusive staff. What a wonderful experience of fine dining. We decided to visit Vino Veritas after talking to a few friends who had visited before. My family were celebrating my son's birthday and we wanted a special venue. We weren't let down! We had a... Staying in a nearby hotel we spotted this restaurant and the Sliema seafront and were delighted. Friendly, efficient service, nice atmosphere and great food. The Crab Tortellacci were divine. A very pleasant experience.

Our last night out in Malta me and my wife decided to eat at this restaurant that looked really chic and the food on the menu sounded gorgeous!. We sat out side it was all going really well until the drinks came out wrong, I got the wrong starter, I took it back in to the waiter and she came... More

We were looking for another restaurant, which turned out to be closed as it was too early in the season, but have no regrets about ending up in Vino Veritas instead. It was quiet there when we arrived (always slightly disquieting when in an unknown restaurant), but the atmosphere quickly warmed up when a family arrived to celebrate a birthday.... More

Myself and my friends enjoyed a delicious meal here, the steak was served exactly how my friends asked and was so well presented with just the right amount of sides.
