Passed by and speculatively went in. A little early, but warmly welcomed. Attentive waiters. Drinks and fresh bread came quickly. Starters were superb. The prawn and chorizo pappardelle was wonderfully balanced. The duck and salmon as mains were the best in our estimation. However, the coffee and sweets were the clincher. Try the chocolate and chilli tarte with biscotta ice... More

Popped in for lunch on the hottest day of the year and dined in cool cellar area - fantastic! Food was lovely and service impeccable - highly recommend it and remarkably cheap for both ambiance and varied menu.

Stopped for drinks at Bacchus. "Secret" garden was nice. Just took drinks which I guess made u somewhat second grade customers.

I went to Bacchus for the first time about 4 years ago, I was actually there three or four times, and the menu was less fancy and prices more reasonable. Last week I went back with some friends and I found a very different menu, with a very limited choice of pasta... and not just that! When I asked the... More

Wandering the streets we happened upon this place and were led through an atmospheric dining area to a "secret" walled garden. The place was exactly what we were looking for; shelter from the heat, peace and quiet and attentive service. We both ate lighter meals, mine a seafood soup, my wife something I can't now remember. Bread and wine was... More

We both had lamb for our main course, this was probably the best lamb I had eaten since a meal in the Ritz in Paris 10 years ago. Just a great meal with fine wine in a great setting.

It looks amazing, both in pictures and reality. However, it's quite expensive for what it is - I could have made a tastier risotto at home than the one I was served!! Beware the bee/ant infested garden. My girlfriend was stung by a bee as we dined - rather than try and help, the somewhat vacant waitress just shrugged her... More

The food is to die for- food presentation is wonderful, good variety of food, good service, well mannered waiters, situated in one the most beautiful cities in Malta, and the venue is one in a million. I would have give it 5 out 5 if the toilets where cleaner. But all in all I highly recommend
