Medieval Mdina is a city of wonders. Along the narrow lamp-lit streets, the Cathedral, convents, palazzos, quaint little houses and museums which characterise the Silent City you will find Bacchus Restaurant on the first turning to the left as you enter Mdina. Bacchus’s Chefs and Serving Staff make no bones about the fact that they consider the input of customers as the strongest motivation for them to give their customers the kind of experience they would enjoy. Quiet and good

The service was impecabile which compliments the medieval atmosphere ar Bacchus restuarant. The food was good but the meat got slightly cold until it was served. Other than that its a restaurant you need to visit at least once.

Fantastic culinary experience- A Gout de France evening. During this evening more 1000 chefs, in the 5 continents, invited the public to experience a taste of French cuisine. A 6 course meal accompanied by exquisite wine paired to each dish. Each dish was a different experience - colour, presentation, taste and smell. The menu was presented in such a way... More

I went here with a friend for a drink, but there was definitely a lack of service and employees available at that day. The staff looked very arrogant at us and we did not get served properly. They looked very bored at us and it looked like they did not want to have us in their restaurant, even though we... More

We had a lovely meal. It was one of the best vegeterian dishes I've eaten in local restaurants. The menu is varied and the food is very well presented and delicious. Moreover the prices are reasonable. The setting compliments the food creating a warm, relaxing and unique atmosphere. The service is very good too and the staff friendly and helpful.... More

This was recommended by some Maltese friends and it is certainly worth a visit. A great setting and on our two visits the cooking and presentation could not be faulted. My wife has a dairy allergy and the cook went out of his way to ensure she could be accommodated and he even prepared a delicious dairy free desert which... More

To enjoy a typical Maltese restaurant set in an extraordinary cave setting, and within the most beautiful city of Malta. Try the weekends as you will also be entertained with folklore music.

The restaurant was a beautiful, cavern style, built within the walls of the old city. However the service was very icy and very poor, we had to go and find the staff to ask for some drinks during the meal and to pay at the end. We had two platters to share which were good value and varied. Such a... More

Excellent food in interesting surroundings The service was good but not intrusive. A haven to escape from some of the worst weather Malta had had in years.

Food is delicious, setting is outstanding, and a lovely restaurant with ancient decor...easily the best meal I had in Malta. Go at night for a nice ambiance, including walking through the "gaslight" Mdina streets.
