It took them about 20 min. to bring two cappucinos when ghe place was quite empty. It seems that speed of service is not a valued quality here in Malta.

A beautiful building with lovely view. The staff were accommodating although the service was a little slow. The burgers with Maltese sausage were really good. One of our party ordered a pasta dish and received a very generous portion - the starter size would be have been sufficient. It was reasonably priced considering it is in such a touristy location.... Good range of Sicilian and Maltese dishes at very reasonable prices. A quiet restaurant in a quite town and a refreshing change from the normal hustle and bustle of Malta.

We have visited this restaurant three times in all. The first time we had a sandwich and a drink downstairs. It was lunchtime. The food was good and the view of the city was lovely. The second time we had coffees up on the terrace in the bastions overlooking the city. Both times were very enjoyable. Last Saturday, the night... More

We ate here several times during our recent stay in Rabat, enjoyed wonderful views from the terrace, friendly service & a pleasant lunch each time. Menu is perhaps more geared to lunch rather than evening with a selection of wraps & salads but the platters & a bottle of wine whilst watching the twinkling lights of about half of Malta... More

Came here because the Fontanella Tea Room was completely jammed and there are limited other options inside the city walls. As others have noted the service and food are only average and the tables are all wobbly. Prices are not high, but then, they shouldn't be. Sat outside which was the only really pleasant aspect of the whole experience. Would... More

We ordered two prawn baguettes and two beers in the courtyard. I would estimate that a fly landed on either me or my lunch at least once every three seconds for the entire time that we were there. Sometimes I had to whisk away three at a time. The table was positively lethally wobbly and we managed to spill lots... More

I visited Palazzo Costanzo on different occasions for a coffee, during the week so far all was ok. Today I decided to have lunch there with my family. To start with tables are unsecured and easily topple if any one tends to lean on them, consequence that one could be scalded if hot drinks or food were on the table.... More

This is a restaurant in the HEART OF MDINA, incredible surroundings and atmosphere. The first time I went there was a few months ago when my cousin and his wife were visiting from UK. Though we were over 20 people we were served in decent time by their friendly staff. The food was awesome and priced very reasonably. A couple... More

We decided to have lunch here on a daytrip to Mdina whilst on holiday in Malta last week. Ok, it was busy but what did they expect it was lunch time on Saturday when a trip is run from all the major hotels on the island. We ordered a baguette and a wrap and waited and waited.... There was a... More
