This restaurant is one I could have easily entrenched myself in all afternoon. A lovely greeting as you enter is matched by the best customer service I came across on the island. The people here have got it so right. There is seating down stairs so don't be put off if the top floor is full, you will be treated... More

Today I spent a few hours with my grandson Bertrand. He had nothing special going on at his summer school so we decided to first cool off at the National Indoor Swimming Pool at Ta’ Qali and then off to the old city of Mdina for a light lunch. I promised my grandson an unconventional lunch and that is exactly... More

Stopped here to rest our weary legs & having worked up a good appetite wandering and exploring the ancient capital. We were attracted by the "arty" exterior, and tempted by the platter menus.Inside it is very compact and bijou, and to be honest the tables are very close to one another. You can't but help get chatting to other customers if they're in close... Tris is a very nice place in Medina! Nice atmosphere, good service, good food and very reasonable price. What else would you need!

Came upon this place by chance. The square reminded me of the dosodouro area in Venice. Lovely wine and great tapas will return.

Lovely, authentic- feeling, no frills atmosphere. Loved the personal service. Maltese platter for 2 delicious and good value. Avoid imported beers - always opt for Cisk. Would definitely recommend for a quick lunch.

We loved this place last year, and nothing has changed that this year. Pierre, the owner, has a great cafe bar set in a gorgeous square within Rabat. Dorothy and Emma look after their customers superbly and the food they prepare is fantastic. A must for a lovely lunch and a bottle of wine, with great hosts.

Stopped here for a quick refreshment break while touring the Mdina. Quaint little place in a beautiful courtyard we sat at a table just inside the door. Ordered coffee and soft drinks which were delivered quickly and the coffee hit the spot perfectly. Also order a couple of slices of cake between us, one was delicious but the other tasted... More
