Consistently Good Service & Value

I always call into Duncans Bar when I visit Malta (now twice a year) because I know the food and drink are superb, the service is friendly and efficient and the prices offer excellent value for money. They also offer accommodation in a lovely setting. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Duncan was not as busy as some of the other restaurants in Marsaxlokk so we decided to give it a go for coffee and cakes. Suffice to say we were not disappointed and really enjoyed our visit. Strategically placed I can recommend this restaurant as offering exceptional value.

Last night we stopped at the Duncan restaurant for dinner. I had the mussels starter and tried the octopus for dinner. My daughter had bruschetta for starter and the calamari dinner. Our food was excellent. The waiter warned us that the octopus may take half an hour, but we were in no hurry and it was well worth the wait.... More

We had a family dinner and hence a very large table. Despite this, the service was exceptional. This was my first time in this restaurant but I was very much impressed. We all had different plates and all was lovely! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to families and big groups.

A slightly old-fashioned family restaurant but none the worse for that. Very friendly and efficient service with great food. Used greatly by locals and a great atmosphere.

Beautiful location, Could be better. We stopped for a late lunch and a cold beer out of the midday sun. Food was average, however I would recommend the catch of the day and the sea food menu, all in all I would recommend it and I did enjoy but others in our party did not.

Visited Duncan's restaurant when visiting the town on Sunday the market day we were on day trip to the town we were dropped outside the restaurant and given us a pickup time so we decided to have coffee in Duncan's before visiting the market. They did a lovely latte with my favorite brand of Italian coffee. Friendly staff. Well worth... More

We were a party of nine. We sat at two tables and were ignored for the first ten minutes. One of our party then asked for an ashtray assuming this would alert them to us. Nothing. We then asked for menus after a further ten minutes we were initially given one menu between nine of us, more menus then followed.... More

We went to Marsaxlokk initially to try another place but since it was closed, opted for Duncan's. My first impression was that it was another place that provided good priced food and stopping there, but I was wrong. We happened to have gone just before their rush hour (2pm) and the waiter was very friendly and was fast in taking... More
