Went to lunch this Saturday to Marsaxlokk and decided to stop again at this place. It had been a while I had not been but still the owner and staff greeted us as though we went there every day. We had grilled squid, shrimp carpaccio and fresh fried Anchovies as starters. We opted to skip their marvelous tortellacci and go... More

What a lovely restaurant and excellent staff. We went there 3 times during our week's stay in the town and had lovely fish and seafood and the service was top notch. Definitely the best restaurant in town

I had lunch at this restaurant by chance. In all fairness we were not greeted in the best of ways. I was with my motorcycle and the staff did not like the fact i walked in with my leather jacket and helmet (I think the restaurant has a dress code) and seemed quite surprised I wanted to have lunch there.... Went here last night, a group of six. After finding a favourite restaurant was fully booked decided to try Tartarun. What a treat. Service friendly but professional. No long waiting times. You have to eat fish here as you could not get it any fresher. We had a mixed fish platter to start and everything was well presented and tasted... More

Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant - stylish quality amid a raft of stock standard tourist fish and chips outlets. Loved the quality of the food - excellent for both seafood and fish. Thanks to the staff who were friendly and helpful. A quality restaurant by any measure.

Great fresh fish, lovely surroundings, super service. No outdoor seating but as this is on a relatively busy street you will want to eat inside. Well worth a visit.

This place was a bit difficult to find, had no big signs or outdoor seating, but as soon as we found it and opened the door to the restaurant we felt welcome and the interior was relly nice. First we had a drink in the bar and they did know how to make mojitos and apperol spritz which we hadn´t... More

I do not know where to begin here. Welcomed by a warm friendly team, offered warm bread with homemade mushroom butter... as well as some fish croquettes from the chef, we are just beginning here. We ordered the prawn carpaccio and the fish soup as starters. I could marry this carpaccio. I had not eaten something so fine cutted, beautiful... More
