We came to marsaxlokk as we were visiting family just recentlt moved to malta from australia. Village was disappointing...can't help but notice the big industrial (power plant)? As backdrop to what was otherwise a picturesque fishing harbor. Restaurant came highly recommended in guide books but... read more

We came here after seeing that it came recommended in the Lonely Planet Malta and Gozo guide book. We came here for lunch and were kindly greeted and sat upstairs with a nice view. The menu listed salmon, etc. at 15 euros but the local fish (sea bream, sea bass) was not priced on the menu. Sea bream and sea... More

A FULLY AIRCONDITIONED RESTAURANT. You sit in the restaurant and watch the chefs do the work for you in a very modern kitchen. Sea food is their speciality but local and mediterranean food is also available.

Fabulous lunch. Upon sitting diwn we were served with bruschetta and bigilla , typically maltese cuisine. Then we had octopus and mussels in garlic fot starters. Very tasty and fresh. For main course we had the mixed seafood platter. Generous portions and delicious. Ended our lunch with coffees and averna. Service was courteous and efficient.

My husband finally got the lampuki he'd been wanting, and loved it. I had the fish soup which was okay but not great. They "didn't open" until noon but they let us sit and order before noon - good customer service! We ate outside because it was a nice day, but saw the inside of the restaurant at the end... More

Had a great time with my family on my mom's birthday. The Fresh Prawns cakes are to die for. If you are into fish or seafood order the mixed rizzu seafood platter. They cook from the heart and I highly recommend it for a family lunch or dinner.

We happened to park right outside this restaurant & then noticed it was recommended in one of our guidebooks so thought we should try it. The complimentary appetiser of Maltese bread rubbed with olive oil & served with a delicious tomato, herb & garlic topping was delicious! We ordered the seafood platter which was excellent - a varied choice &... More

We visited this family run fish restaurant in M'xlokk for Sunday lunch. We were nicely greeted upon arrival and accompanied to our reserved table for 4. We had fish soup as starter and Lampuki as main course. Food was well cooked and nicely presented and although the restaurant was full the service was very good. I find no difficulty in... More

We came to this restaurant after having read a positive review in Lonely Planet's Malta and Gozo guidebook. The restaurant is nicely decorated but that is about it. The service was slow and the food was not great. Worse still, there was a long hair in the food which meant most of our appetite went after that...We told the waitress... More
