This is a small restaurant with great service and greater seafood! The servers are very well versed with the types of sea food and cooking forms. A very good selection of local and international wines reasonably priced. I selected a bottle of Sicilian Corvo Glicine, not the best but perfect for the octopus stew I had which followed a swordfish... More

Have visited La Capanna quite a few times, but never found the time to write about my experience(s) at this lovely restaurant. I visit often Marsaxlokk mostly on Sundays when strolling at the market. I have tried many (if not all) the restaurants in Marsaxlokk and I must say La Capanna is definetly our first choice. We have never been... More

Loved the food... pasta, calamari...excellent. Pity the restaurant is a bit small, so booking is highly recommended.

Good choice of fish, which are very decently priced. Although in a toursit area, the quality of the food is genuine and the fish is consistently fresh each time we dined. Helpful staff without being too invasive. Adequate selection of wines which are very well priced.

Surrounded by lots of locals we had a wonderful dinner. Friendly service, fresh fish accompanied with good vegetables and potatoes. The time between the courses was perfect as was the wine. One of the hidden gems amongst all the other harbour side restaurants.
