Great food, worth waiting for.

Visited here last night for a birthday meal with my family. Squeezed us in even though we hadn't reserved (thanks, we will next time!). Kids loved the garlic bread that was swiftly brought, and we enjoyed pizzas and pasta. Seriously good food with unique flavour from the oven (7yo loved seeing it... read more

Delicious pizza and fantastic service. This little family run restaurant is on the edge of the town and well worth seeking out. It used to be a bakery and still has that feel. Also is amazing value for money.

A very good alternative to the more upscale restaurants in the main square. Very good food, but be patient 'cause it's going to be a long evening: we were seated at 9pm and got our food around 10pm. This said, the gigantic rabbit-amd-onion ravioli were excellent and innovative, making the long wait acceptable.

Maybe it was what we ordered but were not expecting our lamb meal to be what it was. It tasted like boiled mutton with 3 bones on my plate alone. Not only that but when we sat at our table had to ask the waitress 3 times to clean the bird poo of the paper table cloth. Thought she would... More

Dear Trip advisor user, We very much welcome your review as it gives us a chance to improve our business for the better good. We took into consideration all that you spoke of and where needed changes were made, but also certain areas that you spoke of ie, the Local Lamb which is cooked in the traditional way will remain... Simply AMAZING. Delicious. Fresh food. We ordered a salad, a pizza frutti di mare and a spaghetti with rabbit. Everything was homemade. The pizza from the stone oven was spectacular. The fish in the pizza was fresh: Tuna, mussels and prawns had a delicious taste. The rabbit cooked in red wine (local recipe) and the pasta al dente was superb.... More

Visited here in the winter - excellent choice as the oven was lit and provided some welcome warmth! Typical Gozitan farmhouse - stone walls, high ceilings etc. The pizzas were thin crust and very good. The local wine was excellent.

This was recommended and it did not disappoint. We ate with the locals and our meals were excellent - good choice of local pastas and the pizza from the big stone oven was really delicious. Not fine dining but exactly what we needed after a days walking.

Great Stone Oven Pizza with lots of variety and some special local toppings. Outside seating comes in handy in the summer when the oven is roaring away.

We rented a refurbished farmhouse a block away from this place and found ourselves craving dinner here almost every day we spent on Gozo. The owner is super nice... makes his own wine and puts a lot of love in his food. Service is a little slow but you basically have one guy taking your order, preparing it and cooking... More

Excellent food served in a traditional setting - owner has old authentic pizza oven. The rabbit stew was fantastic, full of flavour with huge portions of herby potatoes and vegetables. The red wine had been made in their own vineyard and although sold as the house red was delicious. Couldn't manage desserts as we were so full. Highly recommended.
