Home made food

Restaurant is located in narrow alley next to the cathedral. Small selection of the food, but the food is great. Great ambient with mideval touch. And fairly cheap prices.

It was a compleat surprise visiting the citadel to find this place within its walls. We felt like having a coffee so decide take a look. It's quite a relaxed, traditional looking place with a bar, tables and chairs on the ground floor. There are also some cabinets at the back with poetry and glass vases for sale from Gozo.... More

We ate on the rooftop terrace with an amazing view around. The food was delicious. We shared the platter for 2 washed down with a glass of wine each. The platter had cheese, capers, onions, tomatoes, dried tomatoes, olives, fresh country bread, balsamic and olive oil. YUM! Plenty for 2. Great value meal. Lovely setting. Shop on the ground floor... You can eat at three levels in this local restaurant..in January we ate outside on the roof terrace! ...views to the sea on both sides of Gozo! Excellent freshly cooked food..our kid stew was succulent and accompanied by wines made by the owner..not to be missed.

We then traveled to a nearby town to have a delicious light three-course Mediterranean lunch at Ta Rikardu. We had pasta and tomato sauce for a starter, chicken, veggies, and cheese for the main course, accompanied with a glass of a nice ...read more at http://activities-eatsandtravels.blogspot.com/2015/01/gorgeous-gozo.html

went to this "restaurant" for the 1st time and I will never visit this restaurant again and I do not suggest this so called restaurant to anyone. We went there as a group of 10 adults and 2 children for a snack and some wine. This place is so small and not safe for children. We've ordered a maltese platter... More

If you get a chance, go onto the roof terrace via the narrow stone spiral staircase to have their signature dish of a platter of cheese, tomatoes, olives, capers and onions with rustic bread. It's €10.75 for two. Wash it down with their own homemade wine at €2 a glass. Bargain.

This little Gem is amazing, set in a historic building. You clime spiral staircase to reach the rooftop, by god it's worth it. The view of the city is breathtaking. The food is delightful...so fresh and tasty. The staff were helpful, friendly and kind.

After walking around the Citadel, we found this lovely restaurant with a wild top floor terrace. The stairs up to the roof are not for the feint of heart. I took my flip flops off coming down. However, it was a great view and it was an experience you won't get in every country. They needed more umbrellas though as... More

I had the best Maltese/Gozitan platter of my week in Malta and Gozo here, and I tried more than a few :-) Three different and excellent varieties of cheese, two types of really good tomatoes, olives, capers, bread etc. I sat on the outside terrace on the second floor, which has stunning views of the citadel, although you have to...
