Not the restaurant that you will remember best, but for a light lunch it is an excellent choice... at least if you are in for simple but tasteful food. They grow everything themselves I was told and they even make their own wine.... (red, rose and white). Well go for the food but refrain from the wine if you don't... More

The food here was delicious but it's the view from the terrace that sweetens the deal. Coupled with The home brew wine that was inexpensive it makes a great place for a romantic meal.

Well, the review ill not be about the food experience itself but the story why we didn't even try it. Basically, we went into the citadel in the evening, previously checking on the website whether the restaurant is open. We saw the boards in front of the place suggesting all is open but apparently we missed something and everything was... More

My wife had the ravioli which was fine, I had the goat which was really nice. Coupled with a wine from the restaurant (white Chardonnay style). It was quite an experience. The maitre d from East Kilbride was very friendly. The Far Eastern waiter was very attentive and Ricardu himself was a very welcoming individual. This is worth a visit... More

We had the platter with cheeses, tomatoes, capers, giant basket of bread and very good olive oil. The location is fantastic, in the citadel. Make sure you have the local wine it's very good and extremely good value. We also wanted to try the fish soup and although it took at little time to come, it was delicious.

If you are visiting the Citadel you must try this great historic restaurant, the bread, cheese and tomatoes are to die for all made or grown by the owner who also produces the wine.

My wife and I shared the Maltese rabbit and it was quite good. The restaurant is very nice, in a very old building in the old part of Victoria.
