We stumbled upon this little restaurant more or less by chance, didn't want to go in but then checked in out guide that was saying how great the food there is and how user-friendly the prices are. The guide was spot on! Wonderful experience (do try to get a table on the roof) with some Maltese beer along a delicious... More

The mixed platter seems to be the most popular dish. I really recommend it! Have some wine and food, sit down, relax, and enjoy the stunning views on the citadel from the rooftop.

Located next to the Folklore Museum inside the Citadel in the capital Vittoria, this delightful family run restaurant provides great local freshly cooked food using ingredients grown by and produced by the family. This small bistro style restaurant has 3 floors. The upper terrace is accessed by an extremely narrow spiral stone staircase which has no handrail. The climb is... More

Stumbled across this at lunchtime and saw the word 'Roof terrace' What an incredible view and the sharing cheese platter was amazing. Very generous with the bread too! Should be a 'must do' on any trip to Victoria

Typical restaurant situated close to the cathedral. The restaurant has a nice terrace to see views of the city and to eat in rural atmosphere. I ate the typical salad of Gozo with the different cheeses with capers, tomatoes, peppers, olives. It was really tasty. As a second dish I ate rabbit with a sauce with tomatoe onions and seeds.... Ta' Rikardu is a must on all my trips to Gozo and once again it didn't disappoint. The service is great with Carol's warm welcome every time and the Gozo platter taken with the fresh, soft local cheese is without doubt the best on the island. The restaurant itself is full of character and on this visit, for the first... More

The traditional platter is an excellent starter, with local cheese (allow the extra fresh cheese), local bread, and olive oil (at last!). Follow with home made ravioli (ricotta), or maltese food. If you can find a place at the terrace roof, the view is nice. The service is also very kind, and the bill very light.

Stopped by Ta' Rikardu for lunch and I was warmly welcomed by the lady boss of the restaurant. Took some time looking at the menu and she walked over to recommend me dishes I could order. Service was definitely good and I ordered the Fenkata which tasted really delicious! Dishes were served pretty promptly and throughout the wait I had... More

Ate here as a family party including our three year old. It was a very convenient place to eat after sightseeing in the Citadel. The staff were pleasant but the service was slow despite there being few other customers. We shared two Gozitan platters between four with a side portion of soft cheese. The platter consisted of onions, capers, olives, tomatoes, two... More
