We tried rabit spaggeti and ravioli. All tasty and well cooked. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Nice wine and tasty local cheese.

Went there for lunch with mates, spaghetti rabbit had no rabbit in it, the ravioli were ok but the portion so, so small and overpriced, the Gozo peppered cheese salad for two, was just enough for one person and more than half of it consisted of unseasoned chopped onions and tomatoes. The local wine was horrible. Overall the food left... More

Made a very special effort to go here (after rave reviews in my Bradt travel guide). Staff were un-welcoming, forgot two requests for more bread, virtually ignored us when we tried to attract their attention. The cheese was amazing and the Gozitan platter promised so much - but let down by poor service.

If you want delicious food, with charming (albeit typically somewhat laid-back) service, in a gorgeous and typically Gozitan-style ambience, at tremendously great value-for-value... then I couldn't possibly recommend Ta' Rikardu any higher. Also... this is about the 12th year running that I've stopped over here for lunch.

I have been here many times and love this place! Friendly Rikardu and Carol make us always feel so welcome, the food is delicious but if you are not too hungry and want a delicious snack take the Gozitan platter which usually serves two easily, the fresh goats cheeselets with a drizzle of olive oil and some salt and pepper... We stumbled upon this little restaurant more or less by chance, didn't want to go in but then checked in out guide that was saying how great the food there is and how user-friendly the prices are. The guide was spot on! Wonderful experience (do try to get a table on the roof) with some Maltese beer along a delicious... More

The mixed platter seems to be the most popular dish. I really recommend it! Have some wine and food, sit down, relax, and enjoy the stunning views on the citadel from the rooftop.

Located next to the Folklore Museum inside the Citadel in the capital Vittoria, this delightful family run restaurant provides great local freshly cooked food using ingredients grown by and produced by the family. This small bistro style restaurant has 3 floors. The upper terrace is accessed by an extremely narrow spiral stone staircase which has no handrail. The climb is... More

Stumbled across this at lunchtime and saw the word 'Roof terrace' What an incredible view and the sharing cheese platter was amazing. Very generous with the bread too! Should be a 'must do' on any trip to Victoria

Typical restaurant situated close to the cathedral. The restaurant has a nice terrace to see views of the city and to eat in rural atmosphere. I ate the typical salad of Gozo with the different cheeses with capers, tomatoes, peppers, olives. It was really tasty. As a second dish I ate rabbit with a sauce with tomatoe onions and seeds....
