Great for groups..Nice food

We went as part of large dive group. We had the best service the menu was different to the other places we had visited more local dishes and home made pasta and ice creams. When the food was presented in a very nice way and all the food was great it was the first meal we had where everyone's... read more

During our recent one week stay in Marsalforn, my father and I called to the Menqa for dinner one night. Like all adjacent premises, the restaurant was very busy but our friendly waiter looked after us very well and promptly. This was the only occasion during our week of dining in Gozo, that the waiter had to return to our... More

Having read the reviews, we where very eager to try this restaurant. As starters we ordered Platters consisting of seafood and the house platter. Considering we paid 40 euro for all we where quite disappointed as literally we had 4 small prawns 2 scallops, a swordfish kebab, 2 mussels and literally about 3 pieces of cured fish. The house platter... More

Small but fine restaurant in Marsalforn. The service is friendly and the food good! We had the typical grilled Lampuki and the Gozitan Ravioli. Great food, great service. fair price.

We have been to this restaurant last week and the service was terrible. We waited for over an hour for the food to come. The pasta was cold, the chicken burnt and the pizza for the kids was ok. Will not visit again.

For starters we had a selection of plates. The snails were chilli! I've never tasted hot snails!! I chose calamari for main course but the others tried the fillet. Cooked to perfection. We had also a good quality wine to compliment. Finally ice cream with imqaret (pastries filled with dates) to finish off. My mouth is watering as I am... More

A great outdoor dinner, served by a very nice and considerate waiter. Excellent food and at a modest price. Excellent Gozitan white wine. Above all, you cannot miss desserts! The best cheese-cake I've ever eaten. Absolutely recommended.

This is a lovely restaurant with a menu which is more interesting and creative than usual. The nibbles included a tasty tomato dip and soft, succulent aubergine. There was also the usual gorgeous local bread. We all started with the Gozitan cheese skewers which were local and had a delicious combination of flavours and crispy, griddled cheese. The pumpkin risotto... More
