My and my friends families visited us in Gozo and in the 10 days time we visited 7 different venues in Xlendi, Victoria, Marsalforn and in the Gozo harbour. The 8th and the last one was Chez Amand in Marsalforn. It was the peak of our holiday together, best sea food platter and seafood salad, the calm and peacefull atmosphere.... More

Recommend Chez Amand anytime. Don't miss dining there when you're in Gozo. It's part of the fun. I had the ribeye and the wife had fresh fish. Both were exquisite. Wine list is excellent and the crepes are to die for. Don't miss it.

Been going to Gozo all my life but only recently discovered this family run restaurant. Since then I have been several times - every time we are in Gozo. Excellent food - I recommend the day's specialities. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Gozo. Carolin and Amand are wonderful hosts. Very reasonable prices. Location is also great.

My wife and I just stumbled into this intimate, but casual, restaurant for lunch after walking along the coastal road just west of Marsalforn. We agreed that this was our best dining experience during 10 days on Malta /Gozo. We sat inside, but right at the large window where we had nice views for sea and people watching. But it... More

The restaurant is very cosy, pretty, with a classic mediterranean inspired atmosphere. Me and my friend went kind of stumbled in there in a rush and the owner was so nice to us, he whisked up a penne with pesto for the both of us so we wouldn't be late and it was not only amazing, but also a good... Tasty, super-fresh seafood, fine plate presentation, outstanding, family-like atmosphere :) we would love to come back for more red snapper, prawns and kalamari.

There are not many great restaurants open in Gozo in winter, so Chez Amand re-opening for 2014 is a cause for celebration. We started lunch with the Chef special Lobster Bisque - just the right amount of piquancy. I was offered and accepted a second half bowl to finish the pan :). Then Romana had the starter size version of... More

Regular viewers will know I am biased to this place but to newcomers have to say: you'll not find a better combination of warmth, relaxed informality and scrumptious cuisine with friendly charm anywhere else locally. Owner chef Amand and daughter Caroline continue to bring their unique Belgian blend of passion into the sun-kissed bay-front. Head waitress Danielle is (sadly for... More
