This typical San Miguel restaurant is located right at the fishing port of Lagoa-- the fish only have to move a few meters into the kitchen to be cooked. The food is fresh and well presented, with many daily specials. Eating outside here is a great experience and very enjoyable.

Another good restaurant for fish! The waitress guided me through the fish that they had available for dinner and I had grilled Guelly Jack (Enchareu), a delicious local fish which was beautifully grilled and served with a copious tasty salad and boiled potatoes. It was a real treat and an amazing value. As many other restaurants outside the big cities,... More

We were here twice in October, both times highly satisfied. Don't expect gourmet service. [The Coke is served in a can and not opened for you.] The waitresses speak good to excellent English. Like in many places on the Azores you have to call them, or you won't be served. This is a matter of culture and nothing against the... More

It used to be one of my favorite fish restaurants in the Island, but from my last tree visits to the place, it was overall a bit disappointing.

They managed to take the freshest fish imaginable and cook it to death. No-one in the entire evening we were there. There are better choices within 20 km.

The fish is very good. You have to have a car to get there.

Bad food, bugs wandering around the table, bad service. Dog walking around under the tables. Salad and breads were on the table for hours before guests arriving.
