Another good restaurant for fish! The waitress guided me through the fish that they had available for dinner and I had grilled Guelly Jack (Enchareu), a delicious local fish which was beautifully grilled and served with a copious tasty salad and boiled potatoes. It was a real treat and an amazing value. As many other restaurants outside the big cities,... More

We were here twice in October, both times highly satisfied. Don't expect gourmet service. [The Coke is served in a can and not opened for you.] The waitresses speak good to excellent English. Like in many places on the Azores you have to call them, or you won't be served. This is a matter of culture and nothing against the... More

It used to be one of my favorite fish restaurants in the Island, but from my last tree visits to the place, it was overall a bit disappointing.

They managed to take the freshest fish imaginable and cook it to death. No-one in the entire evening we were there. There are better choices within 20 km.

The fish is very good. You have to have a car to get there.

Bad food, bugs wandering around the table, bad service. Dog walking around under the tables. Salad and breads were on the table for hours before guests arriving.

A trip around Sao Miguel would not be complete without a trip to Lagoa, and Borda d'Agua is a good place to eat if you are there. Lagoa is a fishing village, with boats pulled up on shore in the evening, next to the restaurant. The fish is amazingly fresh. The atmosphere is tables and chairs with posters of fish... More

Located in a fishing port of Lagoa, 20 minutes drive by car from Ponta Delgada, this is a fish restaurant. As ususal in Portuguese restaurants you can go to the fridge and select the fish you like to be grilled. The Canja soup is very good. The fih is very good, but you can find the same quality fish in... More
