Would eat there again

We were looking for a place to eat lunch and my wife spotted Caruso. So in we went. Very nice atmosphere, excellent service and very tasty food. I thought the price was fair for Reykjavik, not cheap but not overly expensive either. I will go back for sure during my next visit.

This restaurant proves that you get what you pay for. It's the priciest restaurant we visited but we had the best service here by far. It's the only one where we felt like they really cared about service and treating the customers as important. The food wasn't bad either. Expensive, yes, but not much more than other similar places in... More

When eating at Caruso you feel like you are home. The atmo at the place is great and location amazing. Great place to go for a fab lunch or a romantic dinner. Price so fair - would recomend the Parma Pizza w/ ruccola. Delish.

recommended by Famous Andres (mercury-grail.com), this restaurant is addictive that I never went to any other restaurant all through out my stay in Reykjavik. Food is delicious. Service is warm And location is awesome. A must visit in Reykjavik. Thanks for my delicious Vodka Orange too!

This is a traditional Icelandic restaurant despite the name. Serving excellent dishes of seafood or meat. Friendly atmosfere in a refurbished old traditional house in the center of downtown Reykjavik. on my top 5 list of restaurants in Reykjavik.

It was cold and snowy when we visited Caruso's on a recommendation. The building is charmingly quaint, and once we found the door (round the back) the service was pleasant if a bit 'efficient'. We had traditional Italian fare and a bottle of Italian wine (yes I know, the price of wine in Iceland...yikes) and whilst it was nothing to... More

We enjoyed our last night in Reykjavik at this cozy restaurant in the downtown shopping area. We sat upstairs with a nice view of the main shopping street with little or no wait for a table (although I recommend a reservation). We started with garlic bread and snails - both were delicious. The salmon and halibut entrees were fresh and... More

We visited here on the last night of our trip in Reykjavik and were not disappointed. Although on the pricier scale of restaurants in the city, it's well worth it. I had the rack of lamb with sweet potatoes and it was absolutely incredible, but to be honest everything looked great. There is a great variety at the restaurant and... More

Nice bar on the second level waiting for your table. We think every on would find all their needs fullfill in the menu.

Never ate better lamb! The Icelandic lamb is outstanding. The restaurant is charming in an old fashion way.
