This restaurant was so good, that we went there twice. The portions, certainly of spaghetti are very good value for money. The service, atmosphere and food are excellent and the waiting staff look after you with the sort of service other establishments can only aspire to.

A great restaurant, excellent atmosphere, excellent food, fast efficient service. We got in on an off chance but I it's better to book in advance if you don't want to wait for a table in the upstairs bar.

The atmosphere was great with live music and a full restaurant, although we got a table without booking - I would recommend booking as it is so popular. The food was good Italian food - I had salmon and my husband had chicken and mushroom penne.

We have been in this restaurant twice, before and after Landmannalaugar hike. Some of us ordered the rack of lamb on both visit and it was perfect. Some had different - lamb fillet and halibut, and it was perfect too. Some say that the meal after a hike is always good, but this was just perfect!

The one place we go to every visit and we have been to Iceland 8 times now! It is a firm favourite with the whole family, always has excellent food and service - try the Humar pizza with a glass of Chardonnay! The bread with garlic butter on the side is amazing too - served as soon as you have... More

Was in Reykjavik again last week and this was on my "must try" list. First impressions were good, it had an authentic Italian atmosphere, with the decor and music. The waiter was very pleasant throughout and we both had pizza (margherita for him, salami and chilli for me). These were huge, woodfired and tasty. Some of the dishes on the... More

Our photo group of 9 ate here on a Saturday night. There are 3 levels and we were on the upper one. The atmosphere is old style with lots of antiques and old stuff. The waiters were pleasant and worked hard bring hot food up 2 flights of stairs. Our salmon encrusted with nuts was excellent. Our friend had the... More

I would recommend it if you love fish and sea food. I have been there and I have chosen only fish and sea food and liked it a lot. Me and my friends ordered different kind of fishand sea food dishes and tasted from each others plates and I can guarranty that everything was well prepared: lobster soup, halibut, salmon,... More

My family of 4 stopped in without reservations and had a table quickly. They all ordered Italian dishes, and although all reported being satisfied, I think my Icelandic lamb and wild mushrooms dish was the best - crazy expensive as is all of Reykjavik, but worth trying a real local dish. If you have had lamb in the u.s. And... More

Dropped in as we thought it looked nice and was busy, always a good sign! Lucky to get a table for 2 and I would definitely recommend booking. Food was lovely, the smoked salmon starter was excellent, followed by a pizza for my husband and the penne chicken pasta for me, both delicious. My only criticism would be the toilet... More
