Really good food

We had an evening meal there last week, both fish dishes cod and salmon and they were excellent. The dishes even came with vegetables and a baked potato. Excellent service by the waitress.

We had been recommended this restaurant but were sadly disappointed. The food was really pretty average compared to the other fantastic meals we had experienced in Reykjavik this trip. Very dated. Everything served with an overdone baked potato ! Service was OK. The Chef was miserable and should stay in the kitchen. I had salmon the a main course which... More

We visited this restaurant on a friday which was very busy. We waited very patiently but were ignored by the hostess for over five minutes. We were almost about to leave when she acknowledged us. We were sat a a table in the corner which was fine, but we were left nearly 25 minutes before somebody took our order. My... More

Really enjoyed visiting this place. We stumbled across it whilst exploring Reykjavik and gave it a shot. Very glad we did as the staff were all very welcoming, service impeccable, and the food to a very high standard without being too expensive. Would visit here again (and definitely recommend the lobster pizza!)

A streetside setting offering a varied menu in nice surroundings. Caruso's had been recommended by a local resident. We arrived late afternoon and were readily seated taking a chance we would beat the reservation crowd. The fish of the day was Plaice. Two fillets were served with a cream and butter sauce over mixed vegetables with a buttered baked potato.... More

Stumbled across this restaurant walking around Reykjavik warm welcome to beautiful cosy bistro at lunch time. I chose the seafood soup. Thick, creamy, more like a stew than a soup with good selection of fish and huge mussels topped with cream. The best I've ever had anywhere. Loads of good bread and Icelandic water. So full only managed coffee served... More

We had a lovely evening here for my birthday. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely lovely & my surprise birthday dessert had a sparkler included. We sat upstairs in the restaurant which looked amazing. It was so romantic and cosy. Loved it

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this quaint little Italian on our last night in Reykjavik and were so pleased that we did! We both ordered pizzas which were very tasty and there was a very good wine selection. The service was attentive but not over the top and there was a lovely romantic ambience upstairs. Highly recommended!

This was brilliant. WIth great regret it was my last night in this beautiful country but I couldn't have ended it better. Outstanding food very prompt and at very reasonable prices. My only regret is that I could not tip the waiter, Siggi, more than 10% because I had left my card at home and had to pay with cash.... More

My husband and I stayed near this restaurant and decided to try it as we both enjoy Italian food. It didn't disappoint. We both enjoyed our meal immensley. The waitress was excellent and she was very friendly. On hearing we were visiting the Blue Lagoon the next day she gave us tips for during our visit. I would definitely visit... More
