Fantastic service and all food freshly baked and prepared. Good quality tea and coffee, generously filled sandwiches etc and wonderful cakes and pastries. They also have a deli section and confectionery.

One of the best bakeries. Best breads. The staff is extremely informative, speaks excellent English and explains the ingredients. We stopped once at the start of our ring road journey and then again at the end. I can't praise their breads enough.

Just as the title says, this bakery is a true hidden gem off the beaten path and visited by the locals. We stopped in twice for a quick breakfast snack while staying a short ten minute walk at the Arctic Comfort Hotel. We stopped in first on a Sunday morning and thought the amount of locals was only because of... More

Tried some pastries here. They were fresh, but were too sweet for me. Also tried their coffee and hot chocolate. The coffee was average but I can make better hot chocolate with those packed powder brought from supermarket. The atmosphere and decorations are great though.

we used this place to get fresh bread every day while we stayed. Bread is not expensive, but once we ordered a quiche and it was very expensive and not really the best. recommend to get a normal cakes and some pastries.

Mosfellsbakarí in Haholt, Mosfellsbaer has the best sourdough breads. I recommend the "Speltbrauð", "Chia sourdough bread" and the "Munkabrauð", but really, all of the breads are good. Great selection of pastries, cakes, sandwiches and coffee and everything is good. Freshly baked everyday and fair prices. You can eat in or take away. If the weather is good you can eat... More

Mosfells Bakari has delicious coffee, pastries and sandwiches. We were able to grab fresh and amazing sandwiches to take on our road trips during our stay and keep on budget. Much better than gas station hot dogs:) Free wifi helps and makes this a friendly amazing stop. Also service was available in English.

I live in the neighbourhood and am spoiled for choice when it comes to bakeries. However, Mosfellsbakarí has become a firm favourite; I especially recommend the sourdoughbread which melts in your mouth. The cakes are wonderful. Despite being very popular and well known by Icelanders the service is brisk and friendly.
