Good corner of the world

We tried to have lunch here on a Sunday in February but the weather was bad and they hadn't had their food delivery so we went elsewhere. Went back the next day for just a drink - husband had a hot choc and I had a Viking - turned out it was 2-for-1 on the Viking and the barmaid said... read more

Title says it all. Everything about this bar just screams of a good night... And day! The drinks and cocktail menu is extensive and the food menu is exquisite. Been here 3 times already. Its brilliant

more of a small bar than a restaurant but great all the same. we stayed on for drinks and a pub quiz (all in English) and found it a great mix of locals and tourists but very friendly x worth going for drinks and a snack.

popped in out of the cold for a drink and ended up staying for a quiz night. Thankfully in English and all about tv programmes. Very tasty carrot and chocolate cake to finish of the night.

What a lovely little place to get out of the cold while visiting reykjavik. Lovely quiet and cosy space located in a basement of another building, not a restaurant more like a bar that sells food, had two bowls of traditional icelandic soup that were lovely. Small place approx 5 metres square but friendly staff and a great pit stop... More

It's a nice and cozy place, the staff are quite friendly. They offer alcohol, coffee, tea, and some light food like sandwiches. There is a sushi place on the second floor in the same building so you can order some sushi while sitting down there which is very nice :) This isn't really a restaurant more like a coffee place... Went in here a few times during our stay as it was on the main high street and good value for money. Nice and warm with comfy seats. They had a happy hour 4-7 everyday which meant a pint of Viking was about £2.50. Cant comment on the food as we never ate here but it looked and smelled delicious.... More
