Went in here a few times during our stay as it was on the main high street and good value for money. Nice and warm with comfy seats. They had a happy hour 4-7 everyday which meant a pint of Viking was about £2.50. Cant comment on the food as we never ate here but it looked and smelled delicious.... More

We were waiting over an hour for two wraps. Yeah, the house offered us free sodas for waiting, but still the quality of food wasn't worth of waiting... There was no taste and the portion was small for it's price.

Stopped here for a short lunch whilst sightseeing whilst walking around Reykjavik. Beer and a panini, no problem and swift service. Small slightly below cafe / eating house perfectly fine for a quick snack lunch

Lovely cosy little bar. Nice beer and lovely bar staff. Great feature to menu in that you can order sushi at bar and it comes from restaurant next door. Perfect sushi and reasonably priced for Iceland .

Cosy cafe, nice atmosphere, lovely hot chocolates and coffees. Perfect for a quick stop to warm up. Bathroom not great though.

It was very quiet. We thought we'd try the soup whilst in Iceland as this seems to be the national dish. However the lamb soup was very greasy and am afraid we couldn't finish it. However the hot chocolate was really good. Not sure I'd eat there if we visited again

We had some very good, freshly prepared sushi in this little café run by a bunch of young people (none of them Japanese or even Asian, as far as we could make out - the chef, we were told, is English). The decoration is very basic and not everything went smoothly during our visit (our order of plain green tea... More

I roamed and roamed Reykjavik to eat some real Icelandic food in a place that is not touristy. I came upon the sign for this place and went in. The Icelandic meat stew is amazing, and the smoothies have me coming back for more!

A warm, friendly and well run bar, easily found along the main shopping street at the junction of the street running up towards the church. Always worth drinking during Happy Hours in Reykjavik as the prices are much more like home!
