Loved this restaurant. The menu is varied. The service was very attentive and professional. The atmosphere was relaxing. The food is sourced from local farmers which I like. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Originally we booked this place for one meal - but it was so good we went back for a second helping! I liked the simplicity of the cooking - grilled. The use of local ingredients (lamb, fish) - the portions were generous. It was very popular so booking ahead is advisable. Was it expensive? I felt we "got what we... More

We are a group of 14 Canadian foodies looking for the Icelandic food experience. To this point all the food we had had was excellent, both fresh, of high quality and well prepared. We were looking for something more. We were sat in a private area and were served the tasting menu, which they do for large groups. WE FEASTED.... More

The tasting menu is fantastic. Wonderful Icelandic food and more. Plenty to eat and the service is spectacular. Even the tables made of 100 yr old German trees are cool!

A well deserved ranking; the food is very good indeed. Expensive, but then, everything in Iceland is expensive. There are plenty of detailed reviews here; I just wanted to add that the shellfish soup was probably the most satisfying soup I have ever eaten - fresh and rich and very special.

Very interesting interior with very cool decor. We had great service. Got a fantastic tasting menu with a wide variety of icelandic meats. The spacing was a little bit rushed but the food was delicious.

This restaurant produces great food. I had a proper grilled ribeye steak with salad and curly fries. The meat was tender and tasty and the curly fries where the best I've ever had. We opted for beer to the food and they had a nice Icelandic seletion. I would love to try this restaurant again when I return to Iceland.... More

Dinner with my wife and 2 young kids, we all loved it. Food is an unusual mix of local taste and international classics from the grill, with a creative twist. Suggest the 3 mini-burgers to stat and anything coming from the grill. The kitchen itself is central to the dining room and creates a friendly atmosphere with the grill in... More

This restaurant had the coolest atmosphere and best food ever. We tried whale sliders, lobster sliders, goose sliders, steak, lamb. All the food was amazing , best restaurant we went to the whole time.
