We had the tasting menu and we're guided through it by Kjartan ( our waiter) He was very knowledgable on both the food and wine and was very pleasant throughout the meal. The standard and presentation of the food was top class.

Very stylish design, great use of wood, stone and lighting to create an impressive dining environment. Great menu - monkfish skewers and vegetable tempura to start were excellent and the grilled salmon and beef tenderloin for main perfectly cooked and well presented. Desserts looked amazing - save room if you can. Service was excellent. When you arrive you will need... More

My partner and I came here for my birthday during our holiday and it was amazing. The service staff were attentive and always friendly and helpful. The cocktails were gorgeous and the food was outstanding. Fairly priced, wonderfully decorated, and an all round fantastic restaurant. They even put a birthday candle in my dessert! If you visit Reykjavik, you MUST... More

Visited for dinner. Great food, good cocktails, really good interesting décor. We had our own booth and the place had a nice ambience. Quite pricey but definitely worth it.

We had the tasting menu and it was superb, from local specialities to more standard dishes. The wine to compliment the meal was also excellently chosen. If you wasn't a special meal in Reykjavik then this is the place.

Delicious food in a funky setting. Tasting menu was great. Expensive but large portions and kitchen willing to make adjustments in courses. Took a long time to get a drinkm

We had the tasting menu. It was too much food, very meat-heavy, and salty. The lamb and beef were particularly tough. The coffee ice cream dessert and service were excellent. Atmosphere is cool. Probably would not return though.

We came here in January 2014 on a weekend mini break. My partner and I are quite adventurous foodies and we were keen to try Icelandic dishes. We were not disappointed! The Maitre D' was a little stuffy, however our waiter was just outstanding, cracking jokes with us and answering any questions we had about the food, the drink, the... More

This was a real treat, such a beautiful restaurant. Have a cocktail first - they are lovely. The taste menu was a selection of items off of the main menu and think would've been a good choice. The mini burgers (whale, lobster & puffin) whilst nice were not a patch on the mink whale steak starter. The Horse steak main... More

We went with our 3 teenage girls and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a great table downstairs and enjoyed the atmosphere. The bread served with salt was a delicious start. Our oldest daughter couldn't wait to try the puffin, minke whale and reindeer, and she enjoyed them all. Not cheap, but for foodies definitely worth it
