A small but beautifully formed restaurant. The inside was simply decorated and the tables were covered with nice white table cloths. We had the fish, the rack of lamb with a bottle of wine and dessert and coffee around £50. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Well... read more

Well worth the visit, I'd go back there... More

With a fussy vegetarian in our party, this came recommended on TA, and a good one it was. Sharing a building with an Indian eatery (downstairs), it has a delightful, cosy interior. Service was friendly, pleasant and efficient. They had a large party upstairs, but the food came in a timely manner. The "ambitious vegetarian dish" was spaghetti, and not... More

You would never know that in this town of wonderful seafood places, this restaurant has outstanding lamb. A great place for dinner.

A very cosy restaurant with tasty meals. We had been travelling all day after a 3:30 am start so we only had a main course. My husband had the duck which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had wolf-fish. The fish was perfectly cooked and a generous serving; the sauce was nice but there was a strange after-taste from the Asian... More

Having spent 20 days in Iceland, this was the best restaurant we ate during our journey. We took a starter, a main course and a dessert, thus we ate more than enough and the dessert was taken only by pleasure. The fishes were really fantastic (catch of the day) and the salmon was amazing especially as starter. The price was... More

I had the creamy lobster soup with grilled langoustine starter & then mixed seafood gratin with prawns, langoustine, scallop and seawolf. Girlfriend had potato & spinach soup starter & Seawolf with mango, chilli and ginger sauce, roasted vegatables and rice. Both dishes were heavenly...such a good choice on the menu & so tasty! 100% come back if we return to... More

We came upon this restaurant recently and it was fabulous. Although we had not booked the reception was good and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. The food was of really good quality, and the prices were not silly. We enjoyed a lovely evening here, good food, wine and service all the more worthy of note as they were... More

Had a great five star dinner here - started with the wild goose carpaccio (incredible), I had the catch of the day (salmon in a blueberry sauce) and my husband had the lamb (done to perfection) - both main dishes were large and really wonderful. For dessert we split a berry/skyr dish that was amazing, best dessert we had. Great... More

This is local restaurant a little bit (10 minutes walk) outside the city center. They serve a combination of meat and fish. Also they have 3-course adventure menu's. If your looking for a nice restaurant, this one should be on your list.

Can't think of anything negative to say about this place. We ate here one night, and both had the catch of the day, which was seawolf and Atlantic salmon served over a blueberry sauce with sautéed vegetables and rice. Great wine and beer selections as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, service was by far the quickest of... More
