My friends and I were in Reykjavik and decided to stop in this place for dinner. It was pouring rain outside so the warm, friendly atmosphere was very appreciated. The service is good, the food is delicious, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Try the Plaice on the Smørrebrød menu. Delish!

This is a small restaurant affiliated with the Hotel Fron where we stayed for a few days in Reykjavik. We ate both breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was a typical European buffet with everything you need for a quick breakfast. Nothing unique but the food was fresh and plentiful. Dinner was more interesting with a number of local choices. All... More

I went with my family on my graduation day to this restaurant. We booked a table one day in advance. The restaurant was packed when we got there and our table was at the worst spot in the house. When we were seated the next table was cleared and we asked if we could sit there and that was very... More

Nice atmosphere, good selection of beer and wine. Menu includes both Icelandic and Continental food. Staff is helpful, pleasant, and competent. Food is fresh and well prepared. Restaurant is in the Hotel Fron. They will not bring the check to you--you have to go to the till when you are ready to pay. I ate there twice and had a... More

Stopped in while looking for something to eat in downtown Reykjavik. We had three different people waiting on us at different times as they were quite busy. Service was good. Portions are large. The food is fresh and very tasty. The menu probably offers too many options (it can be a bit overwhelming to be passed such a hefty document).... More

The environment seemed very high-end formal. But the crowd on a Monday night was casual. The service was fast and professional but the servers were not wearing smiles which was a little off-putting. The meals were very good. The cod moist and flaky and tasty. The lamb perfectly cooked so as to be rare in the middle but not cold... More

We had lunch here in between meetings as it's near Harpa. As I am writing this after my trip so this is only an average restaurant among all that we visited during the stay. It's a good place to sit down and relax and the food was ok. If you wish to have a simple lunch with western food it's... More
