Staff was fiendly and helpful. We were group of 12 and they didn't ask us to order in advance which was really helpful. The service was fast. Food was mostly delicious and tasty but two of us ordered soup of today (mushroom soup) and said that it wasn't tasty at all. But my lobster pasta was really good and one... More

We ate here during our visit to Reykjavik in August. The restaurant looks very nice, so I had high hopes. However, the food was just average and the service was extremely slow (and not in a leisurely "enjoy your meal" type of way). We waited almost an hour from the time we ordered until our meal was delivered. I also... More

Had a beef sandwich with fries as one of today's special and it was very good. The prices were very reasonable for Iceland! 1750 kr ($15) which was well below many of the other places we passed by and ruled out as too expensive for lunch. Service was very attentive. My friend who is gluten free was able to get... More

I had dinner here with my two kids, aged 9 & 11. I ordered an appetizer which came out first followed by the kid's orders. I had to ask for silverware, which took a while to come out. Then I finally had to ask where my main dish was and the waitress seemed surprised that either I hadn't gotten it... More

In our recent trip to Reykjavik we liked this restaurant so much we went back the next evening and we would have gone a third time but felt too embarrassed to do it. Good food (mainly fish) at decent prices, good service and a very central and convenient location.

We decided to have diner there only base on our feeling with out having read any review. Dishes are various, wine choice is correct for Iceland and on top of that we have good exchanges on icelandic usages and culture with the staff. Icelandic dessert with Skyr, fruit was so good and we have tested the "black death" ;-) The... More

My husband and I popped in here recently and each ordered a well-priced fish-and-chips lunch special. It was lovely and one of the better, and less costly, meals we had in Iceland. The ambiance was quiet and laid back, with only two other patrons, but we liked the vibe. We couldn't afford most of the menu, but that fish and... More

Well worth a visit if you are in Reykjavik - it is not an expensive place and the food is really good. I had cod and it was very tasty

The first night we arrived in Reykjavik we were looking for a restaurant and we went to this one as the menu has a lot of options from various Scandinavian origins. We sat down, got a drink and ordered food and then nothing happened for 25 minutes.... we saw that the tables next to us were getting their food but... More
