During a sightseeing walk of Reykjavik we decided we needed a lunch break. The weather was sunny but there was a chill in the air & so it seemed a great time to try some nice hot soup. So we saw this place & it has a number of

I dined here with my family and we enjoyed a relaxed meal. I had chicken, vegetables and potatoes which was a pleasant meal while my husband thoroughly enjoyed their big burger. My sons had the pasta but found it just ok, perhaps a little bland. They did enjoy Viking beer and it was perhaps the biggest hit of the meal!

First of all "Apologues" I called this restaurant "The continental" in my Hotel Fron review. The food in the restaurant is good, I had smoked trout salad for one meal and pasta for my second. I found them both tasty and filling, the prices are a little less than in town "By the harbour". If you stay in the Hotel... More

The lobstar tails where small (Expected) but the 'salad' consisted of 5 leaves, no dressing and the potatoes where 4 slices which had been fried in so much oil it literally was dripping. My fiance has the salmon linguine. They brought the wrong... More

This restaurant is part of the Hotel Fron, where breakfast is also served. The restaurant has a very good menu with good prices considering all prices are rather expensive in Iceland. The service was very good and a lovely meal.

I went in seeking fish and chips, as I love the dish and hear that Icelandic fish is quite good. I get in and sit down and order a coke and a water and the fish and chips. Not more than three minutes later does she come out with the meal. I thought that was rather odd, as it takes... More

The Scandinavian Restaurant is part of the Hotel Fron, only fairly small but really good food. It always seemed to be quite busy. We stayed at the Hotel Fron so we went to the Scandinavian Restaurant on our first night and really enjoyed it.
