Good food in one of main streets of Reykjavik. Very busy but always able to find us a table! No complaints and friendly staff.

First restaurant to try in the city. Menu is rich and offers a nice variety. My friend and I ordered fish of the day, lamb soup and pasta with lobster. All food was tasty and service was acceptable and friendly. I would try it again if in the area.

We stopped here for dinner after an active and exhausting day. The menu is designed to satisfy but not "wow" and offers variety (salads, fish of the day, pasta). Our food was well prepared. Our server was pleasant. Service seemed to take forever, even by European standards. A safe choice.

The place is comfortable and the staff really pleasant. The quality of dishes, compared with price is really good. Really recommended for people that are looking for a place whale's dishes free.

We had lunch at the Scandinavian: the food was good, especially dessert: icelandic skyr bomb. Prices are also icelandic: not cheap, but not more expensive than anywhere else. We chose quiche and salad, they were good and economical. Waiters were very cheerfull. To sum up we enjoyed our lunch !

My wife and I had lunch here with two completely different choices: my wife had some herring smorrebrod, and I wanted to try a local favorite, lamb soup. Her meal was fresh and delectable. My soup was watery and almost sweet (from the root vegetables). There was very little meat in it. It was a small bowl of a very... More

My wife and I entered this restaurant just before 8.00 pm and were shown to a table close to the bar. After a short while our waitress took our order. My wife ordered Icelandic salmon and asked for the salmon to be cooked "well done" - I ordered Fish and Chips, together with a local beer and a glass of... More

The food was very good and huge portions. Mushroom soup, possibly the best I have ever had. Try the warm apple cake with toffee sauce plus whipped cream!!!
