Delicious!

Had the fish special of the day. Baked cod perfect and good roasted veggies and mixed green salad added. The sauce was light and accented flavours. Worth the wait to be sure meal is prepared w/o microwave! Yummy. And house white wine a great match. The deserts looked great and the coffee had... read more

This restaurant is attached to the Hotel Fron where we are staying for a week as we explore Iceland. Usually I am not too thrilled with hotel restaurants but one evening, being tired and hungry, we decided to try it. Were we ever surprised. This restaurant was excellent from the house red wine right through our baked cod and root... More

We have travelled around Iceland for 10 days. The best food, and the best value was at this restaurant. If you are in Reykjavik you must go to this place.

Service was ridiculously slow. It didn't matter how the food was since we had to wait an hour to get a sandwich. Plus, very expensive.

After looking around town decided to give the Scandinavian a chance, the food as with many places in Reykjavik was expensive. The service was friendly and the food delicious we only ate a main before leaving for a walk around town but had to return for a desert which again was lovely Would recommend giving this place a visit

We found this restaurant via Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. I had a typical soup, but there are a lot of other great options in the menu. I recommend it, and the prices are not so high.

After sampling local hotdogs and burgers on our first day or so - we tried this restaurant for something a little more authentic. It was great, encompassing dishes from all over Scandinavia, including the mysterious Greenland, there was something for everyone. I had the fish soup (doesn't do if justice) and lobster with pasta in a bisque sauce. Both were... More

As the title. The food was horrible and pricy considering its quality... There were not so many people in the restaurant before we came in and now I know why...

We were looking for a good meal in Reykjavik and walked past this restaurant. As it looked like some local food (what's in a name...), we decided to go in. There were not many customers, but enough to make the place not feel empty. We had delicious starters (reindeer paté and baguette with honeyed tomatoes) and even better main courses... More
