Question...how to alienate your customers Answer. Provide a top quality service to a family sittting next to us who were obviously regulars and at the same time, completely ignore the people (us) for the entire meal, the only time they actually made an effort to come over to us is when we were leaving (probably to check we weren't leaving... We were walking around trying to find somewhere to eat and as there wasn't much open as it was fairly late, we ducked in here. It looked nice enough and was quite busy so we thought we'd give it a try. My boyfriend had a burger which was huge and pretty good but as I wasn't massively hungry, I had... More

Decided on a late afternoon meal before a Northern Lights trip, and were pleased to have found this restaurant. The lamb, while expensive by UK standards (£25) was super and lots of it, as was the starter of soup and bread. Nice, relaxing place where the staff were happy to go at your pace and leave you to chat, if... More

Stopped in for lunch and had an excellent meal. Our first in Iceland. Great hosts and lovely food. I can recommend the Camembert and the soup was great. For Iceland it was well priced too, at the lower end of the cost scale but the higher end of the quality one.

The restaurant is right next to Hotel Fron. Served good Scandinavian sea foods and also Italian pasta and pizzas. And not expensives.

We took my mom to Reykjavik to see the Northern Lights... little did we know, we would stumble across Scandinavian!! John was wonderful to us... We enjoyed a wonderful meal in a laid back atmosphere with wonderful service. We were able to enjoy the company of the server and other folks that stumbled in. I had the Lamb Prime and... More

On our first night in Reykjavik we had a dinner at this lovely restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, with really low lights and a nice environment. I had a salmon-based meal which was spectacular, and not too expensive. My girlfriend and her sister had a burger a piece, which weren't quite at the level of everything else, which was quite... The best thing we had was the fish soup. Fantastic. This restaurant was attached to our hotel and we had breakfast here each morning. Good but samey. The burgers looked good.
