Just different!

It feels like being in a house back in the 70s. Cool atmosphere. I only regret we came too late for the rooftop terrace. Nice food at a reasonable price for Iceland.

Really nice cake and good breakfast and coffee. This place is cozy and comfy and almost feels like you are in your home away from home.

We stopped for a quick bite in this eclectic cafe and happily enjoyed good warm homemade tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. This comfort lunch was so good on the cool rainy day in Reykjavik. We passed on the specialty N:Y Cheesecake, but returned later for the heaviest and biggest oatmeal chocolate chip cookie ever! One other reason to... More

My husband and I stopped in for a bowl of soup after shopping. The cafe is in a little 2 story house from the early 1900's on one of the prettiest shopping streets in all of Reykjavik. The owner has painted it a happy sunshine yellow on the outside with cute cartoon drawings which invite you to stop in. Inside... More

Went upstairs both times, so consider this a partial review - at least until next year ;-) Loved the squishy old sofa, the clutter of ornaments and Fred Flintstone's everywhere, the music which didn't drown out conversation... Service was quick, smiley, and efficient. Oh, and the swiss mocha's were perfect. Apple crumble the best yet.

This place is very well located, although you will not find it that easy. The style of interior is eclectic, but this is coincides with international spirit of this place. If you are into touristy mood and fond of tasty and extra nutritious cakes with a free coffee refill, don´t look for any better spot as this is a perfect... More

This is a cool little café in downtown Reykjavik. We came to try the famous cheese cake and we were not disappointed. There's a cool semi-hippie feel to the place, which makes it a great choice for a quick stop while visiting the area.

We loved this place - great brunch, great coffee and I loved the decor. We made sure to chalk our names on the wall on the upper level :)

It is a really nice little place in Reykjavík. I really liked the food, because there are some kinds of sandwiches and hot dishes and the Soup of the Day. There are small tables where you can sit and in the summer there is a terrace on the top of the house.

Small, quaint and eclectic coffee shop with lots to look at. A very unusual Star Wars rest room, lots of memorabilia and yes a very pleasant staff. Only had pastries and coffee and both were very good. Music is nostalgic. Prices were very good!
