The restaurant is very nice. The food was very good and the main courses were fantastic and really good portions. Expensive, but all good restaurants are in Iceland in the downtown tourist core.

Not only is the staff professional and friendly, but their food is great. We had the regional starters, then I went for the Grilled Beef Tenderloin... I shouldn't have gone running before writing this review, hahaha. The only con I have is wine price-quality), but that seems to be a problem in Iceland overall. Desert was also amazing. I will... Our best night out, server Hatthor was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable, very accommodating staff and high quality chef. Great way to sample Icelandic food. Thumbs up.

We stayed in Reykjavik 6 nights and ate at this restaurant 3 times. It was great for many reasons. First the wait staff was very friendly and very attentive. Second the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate my need to be gluten free. Third the food was excellent. We had Salted cod & slow cooked beef cheek as... More

Went with a friend and we had some sushi. The sushi was average, there are much better sushi places in Iceland, thats for sure. One thing that I think is strange is that we arrived there at 5 and even before we got in the door we were told we had to go before 7 oclock (and there were NO... More

Just to state something clear at the beginning I was struggling between 4 or 5 stars - eventually I picked 4. My experience in this restaurant was not perfect. I walked in there on a Saturday around 10pm. While I understand it can be very busy, people there seems to be overly stressed, and I can only see their staff... More

we had our first big meal of our icelandic adventure here. we were thrilled with the level of excellence in the cuisine. the space is well designed and interesting, but the food is what held our attention. these folks have the best seafood in the world to work with and they real justice to their provisions. i highly recommend the... I actually found this restaurant on trip advisor before we went out there and as we were wandering about my father in law stopped to look at this menu outside and i realised it was the one id found! So we made a reservation for later on and we were not dissapointed! We tried the iceland taster menu of Puffin,... More

We were lucky enough to be seated downstairs (lowest level) as it was much quieter than the main floor(s). The three of us got the Lobster Feast and each course was simply amazing. The langoustine was sweet and flavorful in every course. We absolutely loved it and it was the BEST meal we had in Reykjavkick. I'd return in a... More
