Great place

Consistently very good food based on icelandic food culture for several years. Good prices, service, location and service. A favorite.

A wonderful fish restaurant. This time a was seated on the first floor, which was a bit more busy that the basement. The food is great. If you're looking for fresh, delicious fish in a very nice setting, this is the place to be!

I was wandering around the city and friends said this was a must try. They were right! fantastic food, great drinks, great service. The staff guided me around the menu, and I had a fish stew that was absolutely delicious. There is a lot of expensive food in Reyk, go here!

We were blown away by the quality of the food as well as the presentation. Two had the lobster feast, one the grilled fish feast and another pasta with seafood. Service was excellent also. The creme brûlée to die for!

We had no reservation here, but they were able to seat the 4 of us on a Thursday night. We did have to sit at a big round table with 3 other tourists, which we didn't mind. We each ordered a round of Tuborg beer. It was a darker beer, but very good. I think it's Danish. My husband and... More

The restaurant was busy but we booked a table so when we arrived we were taken straight through and seated. There was a nice bit of space around our table so we didn't feel crammed in with other people. The service was really attentive and friendly and the waitress explained the bits of the menu we weren't too sure on.... More

We ordered the tasting menu. 10 different dishes. Each one well crafted. We had sea food, birds, meat and good bread. Good Italian wine. The waitress worked with the chef to tweak our meal. Even the desserts were wow.
