We ventured here on a beautiful day when all the Icelandics were sitting outside in tshirts and shades... Even though it was only 10C! We got a cosy little area inside with our hot chocolate, chai tea latte and a wonderful Icelandic custard eclair/doughnut - just divine!! There are beers and wines on offer too. The atmosphere was very relaxed... More

Whenever I am in Reykjavik I stop here at least once. They have good coffee, tea, a couple of nice desserts. They also have wine by the glass, if that's your thing. I've never tried the other food they have on offer. But they have free wi-fi, which is nice.

On our first day in town, we walked down from the main bus station and then spent 20 mins in the tourist office collecting information and booking a few trips. After which we were in need of a nice coffee somewhere close by. We asked the girl behind the counter in the tourist office if she could recommend anywhere and... More

This cafe is centrally located, it serves lovely coffee with a refill in the price. The furnishings are eclectic, just like being in your granny's front room. It has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere to it. All it needs is a roaring fire and you wouldn't want to leave.

Came here two nights and loved it. Try the stout, it was tasty. Bartenders were sweet (if you beat them at a game of chess, you get a free beer or something). Met some interesting Icelanders and foreigners. There were two young women next to us knitting and drinking coffee, a few people on laptops, people playing board games, others... More

Loved this little cafe / bar. We visited twice, once during the day for coffee & doughnut and once in the evening for a cocktail. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, board games available.

Tasty pastries, great service, funky atmosphere. Feels like a place I would find in Portland, Oregon. Clientele is a nice mix of tourists and locals. Open on Good Friday when a lot of places aren't.
