We stumbled into this gem and returned 3 more times during our week in Iceland. The "house beer" is a local micro brew made solely for this place. We couldn't get the answer of what it is, tho'. The server was young, enthusiastic, very friendly, but ignorant about brews. It was a tasty refreshing amber-colored ale, perhaps a red ale... More

Stopped in for early dinner and drinks on a rainy afternoon to find a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Excellent selection of beers and good dinner options on the menu. My burger was delicious, although initally I was served the wrong burger and had to wait for it to be corrected while my friend ate her meal. Service was very... More

We stopped in here on a lark and were pleasantly surprised. Quiet and warm with a very nice beer selection and some carefully curated tunes. Had the traditional Icelandic Lamb Soup and it was superb. We brought the rest of the family a few days later and the chef explained that the soup might be a bit different because each... More

Best lamb-burger I have ever had. Top notch service and excellent athmosphere. The dish was a clever woodenplate that was interesting to eat from and we even got extra service of frnch fries on the house. Will definately be coming back.

I stumbled past their sandwich board which noted that on the menu was the catch of the day. Oh. My. God. It was possibly the best meal I had during my two weeks of travel (and I went to Paris!) My entree was served in a iron pan that would seem like you make bread in (I don't know the... More

I was there just one month after their opening and was pleasantly surprised how good service they provide. Our waiter (a young guy, but I am afraid I forgot his name), was very lovely and entertaining. We followed his recommendation to taste a birthday sandwich and we did not regret. The chocolate dessert was one of the best I tasted... More

Popped in late one evening for a beer and bite to eat whilst on trip to Reykjavik. Really friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere greeted us. Had a couple of locals beers and some Icelandic fish and chips. As expected the fish was incredible(cod) and the chips incidental. Good range of drinks including some nice single malts. Overall a good experience,... More

This place is truly 'Icelandic'. It has an extensive list for Icelandic beer and the menu is original with local dishes. The servers were super helpful in finding suitable beer pairings for our food and tastes - appreciated! Try the fermented shark here. We had heard horror tales but it tasted fine and wasn't smelly. Snaps was good to follow... More

Iceland bars are into craft beers and this is one of the sweet and cozy places to try it. Had time to chill here with my friends over burgers (which Scandinavia seems to love) and craft beers. If you are in Reykjavik, don't forget to pop in.

Great beers with good food at very reasonable prices. I still regret not trying their fermented shark - it must be an unbelievable experience.
