The best lunch in town!

If you want good food in a really nice setting this is the place. I had fish of the day for lunch and it was a fabulous trout dish with potatoes and vegetables. Delicious! Desert was even better a gorgeous taditional lemon tart (no gelatin). Can´t wait to go back to this place.

We came just before Christmas and had the Christmas sampler. Most of the food had probably been on the dish since early morning. The cheese was dry and hard (should have been soft) and food did not taste well. We also had dessert and I ordered Marense cake and did not find any marense in the cake and asked why?... More

Just had a business dinner at the Nautholl. Started with some amuse bouches which were nicely displayed on a log (and of good quality). This set the tone for the rest of the dishes: good combinations of flavours, good cuissance, genuine ingedients.

We visited in our first night in Iceland and it at the bar very high for the rest of our stay. The restaurant is on the end of a peninsula to the south of Reykjavik and in the day overlooks the water. The interior is very modern but the service warm and friendly. The deluxe burger was one of the... More

I have enjoyed lunch here several times. The food is always good. On my last visit I had the pulled pork sandwich. The portion was very small, but good. My friend had the fish and chips and loved it. I love the location, off the beaten tourist path, next to an artificial beach and the Reykjavik University, by the foot... More

I was lucky enough to live in Reykjavik for 1 year so as you would expect I got to know some of the best cafes and restaurants on offer . Nautholl quickly became a favourite venue for both lunch and diner. For the lunch you can't beat the carrot soup, sounds boring but is anything bu. A taste sensation of... More

I attended a 90th birthday celebration and the h'ordeurves were outstanding! To die for! The following week for lunch.....chicken and langostino salads. Very good but very expensive (over $20 USD each). The desserts are a work of art and mouthwateringly fantastic. Be sure to have the 5 spices ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!! PS Service was a bit slow for my liking.

A bit out of the way, but in a beautiful location near a river and Reykjavík University campus. We had a pretty walk through a remote dense parkland to reach it. Food, service and atmosphere are excellent
