The best carrot soup ever!

New friends took me to this restaurant for my last night in Iceland. I had been injured so this was a treat. The menu was inspiring, and full of suprises. The carrot soup had coconut milk, ginger and cranberries and was whipped- an omg moment! The chicken salad to die for. A lovely place and very... read more

Come rain – Come shine! This nice restaurant, which is situated by the only beach in Reykjavik with a walkpath along the shore, never fails. For lunch – afternoon coffee or dinner --- for a sunny day with seating outside as well as inside or a snowy winter night with a cozy atmosphere inside. The menu does not change much... More

We appeared to be the only non-Icelandic speaking diners at this great location away from the city center. Had the special of the day, which more than half the diners were also having - very fresh and tremendously done.

We were about 10 people who had dinner at Nautholl on Saturday June 20th (had reserved tables by e-mail). Location a bit eccentric but very nice surroundings with beach within a few hundred metres (worth seeing). The bistro is elegant with tasteful interior. A bit expensive maybe, but the food and service was very good.

The atmo was relaxed and cozy, the service is excellent we went there for drinks and stayed a few hours. I had their estragon dressing burger, it was pretty amazing.

We're staying at Icelandair Natura up the street. Not too many choices close by aside from the Perlan. The food is good. It has a decent view and outside sitting area. Only downside is the price. Found it to be expensive. Had the fish soup and catch of the day. For a little more, I recommend the Perlan.

Nautholl restaurant is located in a very nice area just outside of Reykjavik city central, with a nice view. I had one of the best burgers ever but to be fair it was also one of the most expensive burgers I have had. I believe it was called Truffladur borgari which means a disturbed burger or a crazy burger.

What a great find. We were staying in the centre of Reyjavik and it was definitely worth the forty minute walk out to what was a lovely, Scandic style restaurant in a great location. The whole experience was so good we ate there twice. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The Nautholl fish soup was especially good,... More

Been there twice recently, due to great location and beautiful decor. First time I obviously had a new server that was not familiar to menu items. After asking multiple questions about the course I wanted, where she had to run to the kitchen to get the answers I decided to order it. The failure was that nowhere was it ever... More

My husband and I had two meals at the Nautholl Restaurant. Both truly delicious. Ask for the specials of the day. Both of ours were a fish dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and vegetables with it were lovely. Even the bread and spread they bring to the table is delicious. We rank this place 5 stars, and would go... More
