Lovely clean restaurant adjacent to the beach. We only stopped for coffee, but when next in Reykjavik I intend trying it out.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Went there with my husband and three year old daughter. She was able to run around outside all she wanted and was given crayons and paper to draw on and a glass of milk when she went to ask for it.

Service was impersonal, premises are Scandinavian, white and rectangular, tables aligned. Large windows gave view to a large parking place. Completely full at lunch, mainly young people ordering hamburgers from a menu advocating healthy courses. People are still living in the pre-2008 crash style-over-substance era. The blue ling of the day was fine, but the accompanying mashed potatoes were cruelly... More

Nauthóll is a 30 minute walk from my home so we visit there often (with family, friends and co-workers). Beautiful environment, always good food and almost always good service.

Wonderful food, nice, modern bistro in beautiful surroundings with a great view and friendly service. We had lunch after a nice windy walk and could have lingered for hours. Loved it.

The food here was pricey but very good , the atmosphere was nice and the staff very friendly. It seemed to be filled with locals.

Nautholl was a short walk from my hotel and decided I should try other than the SATT. I had the fish of the day..bad choice..salted cod. Of course it was salty! The service was ok--price was less than SATT. The walk was worth the visit. Another tourist asked if what they saw was the Northern Lights. She said no. On... More

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Reykjavík. I´ve only been here for lunch but the food has always been good, nice location by the sea and service good. If going for lunch during the week, it may be best to book as it is next to the university and can get quite busy.
