We expect to wait for service in Iceland, it's quite normal. We had also been told that food here is good. However we had to leave before our main course because the wait of over an hour after our starter proved too much. The wrong order was brought to us after about 40 minutes. Then we waited and waited..... A... More

Found this place on trip advisor, there are now 2 restaurants; we avoided going to the new/larger one and opted for the smaller 8 table restaurant located a little bit from central. Its pretty busy being so small so you may need to book, but the size adds to the charm. The staff are all Filipino from origin whom speak... More

Excellent meal and they accomodated us without booking, but had to turn away some later visitors. Can't agree with comments about it being expensive. I felt prices weren't unreasonable compared with other restaurants and meals we had were delicious.

We visited here on the 7th Feb for an evening meal. I had the grilled salmon, it was cooked to absolute perfection and was a huge portion of salmon, my only criticism would be I'd have preferred Kessingland salmon and more veg! My partner had the steak. We both throughly enjoyed our meal and the staff were very attentive. Would... More

Managed to get sqeezed in here without a reservation on a monday night. Restaurant was packed and dimmly lit. Warm welcome by staff. Hot wings starter followed by the fish and chips which i admit would put some British chippies in the shade. Coulple of beers and the bill was about £60 not bad value for Iceland. Situated at quiter... More

Very friendly service, lovely food and good portion size. Had the chicken curry and the lamb shank, very tasty. Shared a dessert. We reserved a table, restaurant does get busy. We went to the restaurant next to Best Western Hotel before they moved.

Went here as a family of 5 having pre-booked but still had to wait 20 min for a table, service slow but friendly. I had fish and chips followed by cheesecake. It was nice food but nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant is located half way along Reykjavik's main road.

Harry's moved yesterday to a new location which we we only found out by the sign on the old location door, found the new spot and had a great dinner. The tempura prawns were light & crispy, then we had seafood spaghetti, lamb shank & chicken curry. For such a diverse menu everything was excellent, we finished it off with... More

Friendly service and excellent food at reasonable prices. Just round the corner at the top end of Laugavegur. It is probably quite easy to walk past this unassuming restaurant. We were able to walk in and get a table on a Monday evening in January. I suspect this is not so during high season. They serve a limited but great... More
