We arrived late at the Best Western Hotel and were recommended this restaurant which was right next door. We had no reservation but we're given their last table. The restaurant was full of casually dressed tourists like ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu provided a variety of choices at reasonable prices. We both opted for the fish... Harry's is right next door to Best Western Reykjavik. It is on the first floor and almost seems to hide unless you look for it. The atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy (they light candles and have dim lighting) and there are about 8-10 tables. The waiter was very good and the food was Delicious!!! It looks like it would... More

We are here on our first night in Iceland and what a lovely star. It is not very big and worth booking. Very good food and service.

Great food, Excellent service. Very fresh. You will like this place. Not inexpensive, but not bad by Icelandic standards.

As we were staying at the Best Western Reykjavik which is right next door and didn't have much time between excursions on our first full day in Iceland we ate here out of convenience. We could;t have made a better choice! There isn't a huge menu but it is varied and can offer something for everyone. The food is cooked... More

At first appearances Harry's seems a little down-at-heel. It's a little tatty but the staff make a huge effort, with flowers and candles on every table. They're very friendly and genuinely wanted to make us feel at home. The important bit, the food, was really excellent. The menu is a little bit of a fusion far-eastern with trad fish and... More

Found the place on Tripadvisor and decided we had to visit. Then we decided we had to visit again! We even overheard strangers talking about it so get in while you still can, with only 10 tables getting one may become difficult ... Not to be missed.

We booked here because of the reviews we had read. There were 5 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will recommend Harry's to any friends who are visiting Reykjavik.

I came to Reykjavik two years ago and tried to get into this restaurant but it was booked up. Having read so many good reviews I was determined to try again and this time got in. However, I do advise people to book. I arrived at 7:15 and there was two tables left. The restaurant is next to a hotel... More

We ate here for our first nights meal in Iceland and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There were so many choices it was hard to decide but everyone chose something different (4 of us dining) and there were many compliments for each meal. Fish and chips curry, lamb shanks and seafood pasta were all 5 star! Highly recommend!
