Good fish and chips

This restaurant is a little out of the way. The fish and chips were good. The chips were really good.

It had fantastic food. I loved the shrimp termpura and the grilled lobster. They are one of the best foods I have in the world. I ate there 3 times. All the food items were nicely presented on elegant plates. I wish I could of bought the restaurant home. It is hard to believe such great food can come out... More

Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor we went to Harry's to sample their fish and chips. The service was very good and food was good value but not the best I have had ever had. In terms of Reykjavik prices it was good value and perhaps we had set our expectations too high. I would still recommend visiting this restaurant

Thumbs up to Chef Arilyn a.k.a "Lolong". You can actually taste the fish in the Fish and Chips! The chips are oh so good.

We wanted to eat fish and chips in Iceland but not pay the really high prices of the smarter restaurants. We were so impressed with Harry's that we went there for dinner on 3 consecutive evenings. There are other dishes besides fish, but I had the haddock and salmon. After you've ordered, they bring a plate of their home made... More

First of all, I may be bias because Gemma, owner and head chéf, is my stepmother, but I don't have to write this review either, Harry's already has 4,5 stars on Trip Advisor so it's not like she needs my help promoting the place. But I just have to tell you that her food is to die for, every single... More

went here on the recommendation of the reviews and we were not disappointed. Fish and chips were absolutely delicious and SO reasonable compared to everywhere else we have eaten. Don't miss out...go there!

Really fresh fish very freshly fried along with the very good chips. A nice savory Asian dipping sauce, along with ketchup or mayonnaise is served along with a fresh salad. Filling and very tasty. I felt bad that I'd ordered such an unadventurous dish, but it turned out to be one of the best fish and chips I've ever had.... More

The restaurant opens for dinner service only starting at 5 pm. Very little Filipino cuisine. Adobo and Lechon Kawali (labeled with a different name on the menu) were not available due to the strike. The dish we ate were Lamb Chops and Salmon which are very popular in the Iceland. I heard the other diners ordering Fish and Chips since... More

Found this place on our walk back to our hotel but they didn’t open for another half hour so we ended up waiting around. I got the fish and chips per everyone’s recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. It was our most expensive meal however.
