Great place to eat

We visited Harry's Oriental Restaurant in Reykjavik and it was great. Well worth a visit and right next door the Hotel Reykjavik (Best Western)

I really enjoyed having a curry after days of more typical Icelandic fare. Our entire group loved the meal, ambience and service. Definitely off the beaten path. Very accommodating for the Celiac in our group. Highly recommend!

we were staying at the hotel next door and ate here on the last night in Reykjavik. The food was absolutely lovely and service attentive and quick . My salmon main course was gorgeous and the portion was huge- twice as big as in a restaurant at home! It's not cheap but nowhere is in Reykjavik so I feel definitely... More

I wanted to like Harry's so much more than I did. The reviews looked excellent and the restaurant was close to our hotel, so this was the first place we had dinner in Reykjavik. When we arrived we were surprised at how small it was and how close together the tables were. It was not really an issue when we... More

A quiet Sunday night late, we walked a but off the beaten path and found Harry's. It was quiet, but the server was very attentive and recommended fish and chips. F/C were fantastic, as was the salmon and the lamb. All cooked perfectly with nice accompanying sauces. Wings and tempura shrimp were great as starters. Definitely a nice find in... More

I went here with my family and we all loved our food. We all got different plates but everything was absolutely excellent. The toilets were very clean as well.

Happened upon Harry´s by mistake and late in the evening. The waitress was wonderfully accommodating and the food excellent - vegetable spring rolls!! Definitely will return here on our next visit to Reykjavik.

My husband and I were looking for a place open later because we had been on a day trip. We headed to Harry's intending to get fish and chips (which my husband did). It turns out to be an oriental food place. I had pork belly with pineapple and all of the food was terrific. We went in expecting one... More

We visited Harry's twice during our stay in Reykjavik and bourh times we were very satisfied with the food and service there. I can really recomend the lamb shank with baked potato, it was one of the best meals I have had this year. The lamb was so tender that it just melted in my mouth. The children loved the... More

We recently spent 7 days in Iceland. Harry's was a little off the beaten path in Reykjavik but the food was excellent and prices very reasonable. Strongly recommended.
