We are here on my birthday and despite my partner not being a curry fan he really enjoyed his meal. My vindaloo was very hot and spicy but unlike many restaurants that simply overlaid with chilies when you ask for a very hot curry the flavours were excellent. Despite the large filling portions we had room for a desert as... More

We arrived wet on a rainy night, the owner ushered us to a table by the raidator. I had handmade samosa, served with chickpeas in a lovely sauce for a starter,my boyfriend had lamb choyala, a traditional Nepal dish, served with flaky rice. My main was chicken korma, I always worry it's going to be too sweet but it wasn't,... More

I´ve been travelling around the world and always fancy a good curry. We accidentally entered this place with no expectations at all but it was the only place we could get a meal after 10 in Reykjavik. The Vindaloo together with the Icelandic lamb was just an unbelievable experience. Nan, plain rice and vindaloo was a perfect combination for me.... More

We ate dinner here our first night in Iceland. The service was excellent as well as the food. They also make excellent masala Chai which is also a plus. The lamb vindaloo was good. As we ate early (5:00 pm) we were one of the first parties for dinner. They make a naan with coconut and almond that person in... More

I found this restaurant through Tripadvisor so it is only fair that I leave a review! We visited quite early in the evening so the restaurant was empty. It filled up very quickly after us ordering however. Our waiter recommended the curry with honey and I had a vegetable one. It was beautiful. The food was really good and this... More

We ate here twice during our 8-night visit in Reykjavík. The food was so good the first we had to go back a second. I had the Malaidar curry. Very very tasty! The owner (Theba?) was so very nice and generous. My sister has a gluten allergy and he accomodated to her very well. He even offered to make her... More

We were only in Reykjavik for 3 days and went for dinner here twice because the food was so nice. It was quite quiet when we went only us and a couple of other tables. Service was very polite ad friendly. I had the vegetable thali which was the best thali Ive ever had. Cant remember what hubbie had but... More

We ordered a butter naan, kurma and vegetable biryani. These items are clearly savories but they were all exceptionally sweet. However, they were one of the very few restaurants open on New Year's Eve and they fed lots of hungry tourists - a big thanks for that!

The food was good and ambience was decent too. The location of this place is very convenient. We went there almost at the closing time so we thought to order the food on phn by the time we reached. But because of some miscommunication they prepared our food for take away. But when we requested the owner to allow us... More
