This Mexican restaurant is run by Chinese people who don't speak very good Icelandic or English (or Spanish!). We entered to an empty restaurant at 9pm. Not a good sign. Famished, we stayed. The waiter, having taken our order, sat down at the adjacent table and ate a Chinese meal complete with... read more

OK, we were stupid for going to a Mexican Restaurant in Iceland.. we knew better but we rolled the dice anyway and came up snake eyes... The burrito and Quesadilla were barely edible, filled with ore rice than you could no what to do with, a meat of unknown origin and served with a green concoction that was represented as... More

We went at the urging of our teenagers, which were desperate for familiar food. Well, the food was mediocre at best, the dishes did not taste like anything they were used to, and the service was very slow. The wait staff was very nice, and the restaurant itself was cozy and inviting. But we went there for food, and left... More

Officially a Mexican restaurant but run by Chineese, with Mexican and Icelandic dishes. A bit sceptical we ordered the Icelandic dishes and got very plesantly surprised. The fish the three adults got was outstanding and fairly priced.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The menu say Mexican but there is no way this restaurant qualifies as a Mexican restaurant.

We did not eat here, but we did stop in one night for happy hour as they are right across the street from the Plaza hotel. The place was packed, but almost everyone left at the end of happy hour - half priced Viking draft beer. It is a Mexican themed restaurant. Just okay.

We decided to pop into this restaurant because it seemed like a place that could host a couple of people that were just out and about (ie. Not wearing the best clothes for a fancy place). When we went in almost all the tables were taken but we found a place for 2. We asked the waiter what was the... More

My boyfriend and I ate here at our first night in Reykjavik. I have to echo the other reviews that said they wanted to leave the second they sat down. We walked in to a completely empty restaurant and were lead to a table by the window. We looked through the menu for a couple of minutes trying to decide... More

Food was mediocre and quite dry. Lots of times we heard the microwave going off and as the only diners can only surmise it was for our food!
