We enjoyed the Icelandic Fish Stew and it was a good price too. While not the classiest place, it has atmosphere and character and food is tasty. Offers a mix of Mexican with some Icelandic. A friendly and reasonably priced place.

We did not see Tabasco's at its best as we were the only diners late on a January evening. The vegetarian enjoyed the Mexican-style food which gave reasonable flavours, but not really spicy enough. Icelandic fish dishes were tasty. The place to have dinner with friends but not the place for a special night out. We would recommend it to... More

Was not expecting a Mexican restaurant in Reykjavik, but was pleasantly surprised. From the fajitas, to fish & chips, to the traditional Icelandic fish stew, it was all fresh and tasty. Great spot in central Reyk if you have a sense of adventure!

Didn't know where to eat our first night, 8 year old picked it. The food was average Mexican food, service was okay but it was great people watching.

We stopped to eat at this cozy little restaurant a couple of times. Our first meal was the catch of the day and it was exceptional and good portions. The second meal was the Mexican feast which was very tasty and very filling. The prices are more reasonable here than many of the downtown restaurants and they offered more choices... More

We ate here when it was pouring with rain and just wanted to get in somewhere warm and with food. I didn't have Mexican food; I went for something Icelandic, and it was actually pretty good. Fairly tasty, and didn't have to wait too long for food. The service and atmosphere were ok. I wouldn't really recommend it, but it... More

Also ice water was served one small cup at a time and the staff did not offer to refill. With Islandic price... More

The warning signs were there, a Mexican in Iceland serving a mix of Mexican and Icelandic food with Thai chefs!!!! Food was terrible. Felt like everything had been frozen Starter 3 amigos was miserable, even the nachos weren't good. Heard the microwave ping shortly before served Main course wasn't much better, it's pretty hard to get Mexican food to be... More
