I was here on my first day exploring Reykjavik and was just looking for lunch and came across this cool little soup place. I had chilli chicken soup and a special hot chocolate, which were both delicious. What made it great was the bowl made out of bread, that I ate after. It was well priced, and the staff were... More

I stayed only two days in Iceland with a limited budget and I was glad to find this spot. Amazing soup, friendly environment, reasonable prices, what else I needed?

After doing a 2 hour walking tour in the cold, rain and wind, we knew we wanted something to warm us up. The meat soup in a huge bread bowl hit the spot! From our window seats above Laugavegi, we watched many locals returning home. The interior is warm and inviting, as are all the staff we met. Since this... More

We are here for lunch and had the mushroom soup in a rye bread bowl. It's a smaller place so be sure to go outside of the lunch hour. Also check their Facebook page to see what soups are on the menu.

I spent my last day in Reykjavik walking around the city. It was lunch time and I was looking for some place to eat. Then I bumped into this Restaurant. The board with one picture of a soup served inside one bread attracted my attention. So I decided to try it. They had two kinds of soups, broccoli and chicken.... More

Stumbled in looking for something to warm us up (cup of coffee sounded like it'd do the trick) and a bathroom. What we stumbled into was a cozy, eclectic cafe known for their amazing soups - in bread bowls I may add. Hit the spot!

They also offer other dishes, but the soup in bread was amazing. The place is nicely decorated too so has a nice, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were nice too.

My husband had the broccoli soup and I had tandoori. They were both delicious, but I especially liked the flavor of the tandoori. It was a great meal after a freezing cold day, and very affordable. So glad we found this great little restaurant.

really simple, delicious food, especially the soup bowl when you're cold, we had the mexican meat soup and nachos which were both delicious! The staff are friendly too and the prices affordable.
