We visited this restaurant twice during our recent stay in Reykjavik and found the food delicious and the staff helpful. Although the choices are limited everything is well cooked and plentiful. Excellent value for money as a bonus.

After driving five hours through blinding snowstorms from Akureyi, we were starving. This place serves up amazingly tasty soup and salad. I had the lasagne as well, which was some of the best lasagne I've had outside of Italy. Great, friendly service & excellent food: don't miss out!
Although the menu looks limited each option comes with unlimited use of the salad bar which is full of amazing fresh salad, beans, vegetables and dressings. We had a very good meal here. A choice of 3 great soups(well they were a little more than a soup) and an all you can eat salad buffet with the most beautiful bread. It was a great price and a very relaxed and informal atmosphere.Staff were very friendly. Superb views across the water to the mountains

The place was filled with locals tonight - always a good sign. I had some of the best soup I've ever had and my friend had the cod which she says was "absolutely...

To find, head along laugavegur (main shopping street) and look to the red 'heart' sign heading back towards the water alternatively from the stainless steel viking ship sculpture walk along the coast for 200m away from the 'marina'.Doesn't look much from the outside.Nice and homely inside with great views of the mountains across the water.
Lunchtime special - for @10 Euros...
