We visited this restaurant twice during our recent stay in Reykjavik and found the food delicious and the staff helpful. Although the choices are limited everything is well cooked and plentiful. Excellent value for money as a bonus.

After driving five hours through blinding snowstorms from Akureyi, we were starving. This place serves up amazingly tasty soup and salad. I had the lasagne as well, which was some of the best lasagne I've had outside of Italy. Great, friendly service & excellent food: don't miss out!

Although the menu looks limited each option comes with unlimited use of the salad bar which is full of amazing fresh salad, beans, vegetables and dressings. We went for the soup (of which there were four choices) and after trying the peanut and chicken soup we just had to go back for more and try all of the other flavours.... More

My husband and I found this little gem by chance! A stunning location, with views over the sea and mountains, we thought it would be hugely expensive - how wrong we were! A choice of four soups (the chicken satay soup was superb) that were actually more of a stew, in true icelandic style but with a modern twist. There... More

My friend and I stumbled upon this fantastic place trying to find another restaurant, and it was more than amazing. The owner was very nice and took the time to explain what she served. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We went with the soup and salad buffet. There were 4 different soups to pick and the salad bar was... More

We had a very good meal here. A choice of 3 great soups(well they were a little more than a soup) and an all you can eat salad buffet with the most beautiful bread. It was a great price and a very relaxed and informal atmosphere.Staff were very friendly. Superb views across the water to the mountains Definitely worth checking... More

Just as other reviewers have said, the choice isn't extensive but parties with both veggies and non veggies can enjoy a fantastic meal in a great ambience. The place was filled with locals tonight - always a good sign. I had some of the best soup I've ever had and my friend had the cod which she says was "absolutely... More

To find, head along laugavegur (main shopping street) and look to the red 'heart' sign heading back towards the water alternatively from the stainless steel viking ship sculpture walk along the coast for 200m away from the 'marina'.Doesn't look much from the outside.Nice and homely inside with great views of the mountains across the water. Lunchtime special - for @10 Euros... More
