Was in Reykjavik for business this August and was in need for a quick and tasty dinner and I was very surprised about this place. Both outside and inside it looks like a rather sad place but if you just want a great meal it doesn`t matter. The ingredients was fresh and it tasted just superb. The food came quick... More

Ate here twice in a week; once on accident, once on purpose. I live in a city that's not noted for its Thai food (NYC!), so for me, it was an excellent treat, better than what I can usually find at home. I got green tofu curry, fried fish in red curry, spicy green papaya salad, veggie spring rolls, all... More

Fast service, great food and a clean place. The prices and very good compared to the rest of Reykjavik and price-performance wise this is the place to go. I would go for number 7 on the menu!

Tofu Pad Thai very good. Service quick and close to city center so we could walk to it. Volcano House is across the street and a very interesting piece of Iceland.

Like some of the other reviewers, our family decided to try this restaurant because we wanted some Asian food after a few days in Iceland. Krua Thai did not disappoint. We had the basics like fried rice, pad thai, beef salad, and green chicken curry. Each dish tasted as it would in other Thai restaurants in Asia. Prices were extremely... More

Even if Iceland food is excellent in particular seafood and lamb I need sometimes some Thai food. Heavily spoiled by trips to Thailand and Malaysia I can inform all readers here that this restaurant can compete with places in Asia without hesitation. Dish , enough for a regular consumer, starts approx with 11 Euros. Free water. The interior is more... More

We love Thai. I would say it was very good, not amazing. The service was very fast and the food was hot and fresh. We went on a Monday night and the place was packed. Decent prices and we did not leave hungry. Would recommend if you are looking for something other than seafood!

This place is modestly priced compared to many other restaurants. The prices range from 1500-2500 ISK for most meals. I got the Chicken in Cashew Sauce and really enjoyed it. My boyfriend got red curry and thought it was pretty good as well. I felt like I got a lot of food for what I paid! Definitely would come back.

Reykjavik is expensive, we loved our Thai food at Krua Thai, and the value- prices were reasonable and portions generous.. 3 dishes easily served 4 adults. It is small and busy, so get there early. You order at the counter, and they bring food to table. So if you are looking for fine dining...this won't be a fit, but if... More

After a few days of solid seafood (wife doesn't eat meat), we wanted something different. The thai was very good at krua thai. The atmosphere lacks a bit, but the service is quick and the food standard thai and good (tho nothing 5 star remarkable). Convenient location as well.
