We knew this would be a splurge and it was. Food was good ( everyone ate the lobster but me and I ate the lobster pizza) atmosphere very pleasant. Service was great and meal was served quickly. Wine was also expensive so we all shared one bottle. One person had desert and enjoyed it. Bill was around $250 US. It... More

it's a great place and I've given it a 5 as a rating but the fact that it has 1 $ sign is incorrect in a huge way. it is very expensive and I'm ok with that however someone looking at this might head there thinking that it is cheap end it is far from it.

Amazing food! The langoustine tails were stellar, we shared that with the Arctic char appetizer and it was incredible! As well as enough food for two. It's similarly priced to other Icelandic restaurants.

We came here after our hotel restaurant sucked and there was literally nothing else open except the service station, so we weren't expecting much. So glad we went! I'm not a huge seafood person but the langoustine baguette was SO yummy and pretty reasonably priced for the quality. They were packed but fitted us in within about 15 minutes, fast... More

The athmosphere was very nice and the staff friendly! In the menu, most of dishes have langoustines (pizza, soup..). We went for Langoustine's tails (you get a bib to eat this dish) and for the Artic Char, both delicious!! I would deffinitely recommend to stop here for a meal if you pass by Hofn!

One of the best meals I had in Iceland. You can't get much fresher. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. They have a cute lobster (metal) outside you can take your picture in front of.

This is a fishing village known for the lobster industry. What a better place to have a fresh lobster dinner. Casual dining, friendly staff. We even noticed as we checked out a photo of Ben Stiller. We asked the staff and they mentioned that they had catered for Ben Stiller when he was there for a week filming the Secret... More
