Recently I made a trip with friends across the country to visit Hofn and enjoy the lobster at Humarhofnin. There is only one word that comes to mind, _perfect_. The lobster was the best ever. Humarhofnin is amazing. Thank you.

Humarhofnin is the top choice in our guide book . So we stopped in the town and ate lunch here. The shrimps were very delicious and extremly fresh. The staff said they were just caught from the sea outside of the coast. We love the style and menu.Three dishes for us cost 20000Isk totally.

If you enjoy seafood, this is the place to go. It offers a lof of options for fresh fish, langoustines, lobster and more. It was one of the best sea food diner I had in a long time.

Even though the humar on the menu isn't really lobster, but langoustine, you should try it. It's delicious. Unfortunately, this shows in the price. Nevertheless, the food was very fresh, plentiful and tasty, the service quite good and a meal there a pleasant experience. We recommend the place.

A simple menu, langoustine, langoustine or langoustine (but you can have lamb or char if you must) Really well cooked. Service is a bit slack, but not so much that you won't enjoy yourself

As is well known, this restaurant is known for its langoustines and deservedly so. Other dishes may be good but we looked forward to sampling the langoustines and did. While it costs more, go for the whole langoustines with extra tails as that dish has much more "meat" to enjoy. Langoustines are quite small compared to Main lobsters and there... More

We went early because at noon we wanted to reservate, but they told us it wasn't possible but we could easily get a table if we arrived before 7 o'clock. However, the place wasn't full the whole evening. We first ordered the langoustine bisque. It was okay, but nothing more. Then we went ahead for the langoustines. And really, it... More

We came here at the end of a long day, around 8 PM and the restaurant was mostly empty. I had the arctic char and the creme brulee, and it both were just delicious. Our server spoke excellent English and was very attentive. Yes, it's expensive, but it's not that bad compared to other restaurants in Iceland. Definitely a great... More

This place was what it was intended to be - great langoustines for a very expensive price. We got there just in time to get one of the last tables before a long waitlist was started. They had more space to seat folks (upstairs), but not the staff to serve there. Great to go once. Be ready to spend big.

Food was delicious and the service was attentive. I have to eat gluten free and that wasn't a problem. Really happy with our choice to eat here.
