This was a must visit restaurant on our May 2013 Iceland trip itinerary due to the rave reviews. We all love fresh seafood and we've had some very fresh fishes in other parts of Iceland before we got here. There were 8 of us and we all ordered some sort of lobster dishes. For about 60 Euros, I think I... More

We make it short: best lobster ever! Tasty, fresh and juicy, served with very good salad, two sauces and good bread. We had the lobster tails (not the whole lobster). Simple but perfect dish. Although a little pricey - but compared to the quality and 350g of lobster worth the money. Highly recommended if your around Höfn. From a mid-twenty... More

A great find - the lobster (langoustine) bisque was fabulous. Well worth the price - £34 for lunch for two.

This was the best lobster dish I ever had in my life. It was so irresistible that we had 2 meals in 2 days stay. We had't waited table when we arrived around 6-7pm. About 6500-6800 for lobster tails or full lobster, must try the former one. Waiters were also friendly and professional. Best experience in iceland!

Good restaurant but not cheap. It's worth a visit. As so many restaurants and hotels in Iceland an smile in the face of the service will be desirable.

Yes we also waited... About 45 minutes on a Friday night, but it was totally worth it! We enjoyed the local brew while waiting, and then once seated we were treated to freshly baked bread, lobster bisque and the wonderful lobster tails... They look like shrimp but taste like lobster. They were accompanied by two sauces and a salad. An... More

We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table (at least there was a place upstairs for us to sit and wait). The menu isn't large, but we knew we wanted the Langostines. We weren't disappointed. The Langostines were excellent and there was a large portion served. The dinner is pricey, but it was worth both the wait and... More

We went as a party of 4, and waited about a half hour for a table due to it being crowded and one of the only dining options in a small, touristy town. When we were seated, it took about 5-10 minutes for the waiter to come, and he simply asked us what we wanted to eat (no greeting whatsoever).... More

Great meal. Get there on the earlyish side. We saw them telling people at 9pm that the wait was more than 30 minutes.

It was crowded, but the food was delicious, our first dinner in Iceland and it was a good one. I would skip the lobster bisque, as it wasn't like what I was expecting being from the states, and didn't hit the spot for me. Go for as much langoustine as you can stomach!
