Fabulous meal in an unexpected place

Dinner at the Noa Seafood Restaurant was very special. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our meal so much we mentioned it to the waitress and asked how his meal was prepared. The waitress, who basically runs the place, asked the chef for the prep and he came right out to speak to us. He... read more

Best langoustines we have ever had. Fantastic fresh fish, large portions and a good price for Iceland. Thoroughly recommended.

We chose this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Not having made a reservation, we had to wait for half an hour or so, but food and ambiance was worth the wait. The fish was fresh and the staff very kind and helpful, and we got a table with a nice view on the fiord. Definitely... More

After reading the reviews on here I couldn't wait to go to this restaurant, unfortunately the serves was very slow, after waiting a good 30 mins they came out to check our food was the correct order. There was only 5 tables at this time being used, only one table had food, so not busy. On ordering food we never got... More

A lovely restaurant which we feel lucky to have found. The welcome was friendly and the eclectic ambience is also interesting and calming. Then there is the food, wow! Definitely the best fish dish I have had whilst here in Iceland and the lobster and fish soup was divine as well. All followed with a great orange creme brûlée with... More

After reading previous reviews about the Noa I was really looking forward to dining here. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly waiter who took our order. We both only wanted a main course but asked if we could have some bread. The waiter said no but suggested a certain starter that included bread, ham and cheese. Whilst we... More

Indeed a top rated restaurant serving good seafood in Akureyri albeit a bit pricy. Reservation is recommended as the restaurant started filling up by 7pm. Try the lobster and fish soup
