Almost perfect.

Excellent fish stylishly delivered to our table on the frying pan. Very good local entries. Free parking. Open until 10 p.m., best time to eat from 6.30 do 8.30. p.m. 75 Euros per 2 persons. But...the devil hides in details. Very primitive and unstable too small tables (for a couple). Service... read more

surely, you'd argue 130 ratings on trip advisor making it the best restaurant in town can't be wrong. well, think again. i don't have the habit of writing places down. on the contrary. but the service in noa was downright weird, not to mention clumsy. plates got thrown on the table rather than served, the glas my girlfriend had was... Probably our best meal in Iceland. This guy can cook. Highly recommended and not to be missed! Menu is small but adequate. We all had different fish and each persons meal was excellent. I would definitely go back

The Food was fresh and delicious. We even got a refill for free. The Chef and the Rest of the stuff were caring and lovely. We'd definitly go again if we had More Time in akureyri.

We popped in unannounced but there was no problem in getting a table. The menu is very short but the dishes extremely good- all of it local produce. I had the starter with mixed local cheeses and hams and my travelling companion the langoustines with salad. We then both had dish of the day - catfish in this case -... More

We ate a "lamb-rib steak" and "rainbow thout". Before visiting this restaurant, we've been through many restaurants. But its taste make us forget memories about Iceland cuisines except Noa. So if you plan to visit the Iceland, especially the Akureyri, you must consider Noa. It must be the best choice. We gurantee.

Worth the walk to get there. Perfect location, right on the water with a beautiful view. One of the best dinners we've ever had!

During our 10 day trip to Iceland we enjoyed quite a few excellent and memorable dining experiences. Noa was one of those. The interior resembles both a restaurant and a gallery. The owner and waiter is a painter of modern art which is hung throughout the establishment. Much of the dining furniture is modern and Danish. The menu was somewhat... More

For our last night in Iceland we plumped for Noa based on the reviews. First off it is a bit out way from the centre, but well worth the walk. Greeted by the friendly owner we found ourselves in a warm welcoming space that was half art gallery half restaurant (all the owners own work). We chose the chefs selection... More
