Everything looks nice here but they should learn to make a cappuccino. The staff is smily. The sunny terrace is pleasant.

One of the better bakeries I have ever been to. I'm not a big fan of baked goods, but when you're on vacation.. why not? Despite this being a small bakery just on the upper Hafnarstraeti, it offers a wide range of pastries, cookies, croissants, sandwiches and many other attractive baked creations. Coffee and tea are obviously there to help... More

We were searching for a lunch place where I could get some meat (lamb) soup and my wife a salad bar. We read reviews of this place which is nicely located in the middle of a main street and stopped in. It was quite busy with the lunch rush and had a good priced soup & salad bar. My wife... More

This is a good place to start the day with coffee and a roll. But not too early as they do not open until 8 a.m. The outdoor seating is usually set up a little later but for a leisurely cup to start the day this is the place

The selections were many and I managed to taste quite a few..even my ones for the road didn't make it to the hotel. I discovered something that I can only describe as an Icelandic donut. It was like a donut from the outside, but lighter in texture (probably not in calories!). The bakery also makes take-away sandwiches, which I found... More

We stopped in before a day tour, the kleina and caramel cakes were incredible, as was the coffee... a definite stop before a big day of travel and sightseeing!

We were recommended this bakery by the owner's son and were delighted! We ended up buying multiple pastries, two loaves of bread and many chocolate chip biscuits. The "biscuits" were amazing...not too sweet, but sweet enough!

We walked past it a few times on our afternoon in Akureyri. The pasteries looked amazing from the outside window. Made sure to have breakfast there the next day before leaving town. The donuts were excellent. Felt like being in a little neighbourhood bakery in North America. There were even Icelandic donuts on the menu. Good place to hangout for... More
