Viking Restaurant Harald. Located right in the heart of the city centre, Viking Restaurant Harald serves up the very finest the forest and waters have to offer - just like in the days of the ancient Northern adventurers. Different and excellent

I have eaten here couple of times, not a single disappointment. Menu is exotic even for a finn. Its not exactly cheap place to eat, but id say worth every penny. Interior is also nicely stylized to medieval scandinavian looks.

It's a bit of a pricey restaurant but you are getting what you pay for. Excellent quality ingredients coupled with a skilled chef and a viking themed experience makes this restaurant one of the gems in Turku.

Now for something completely different. Not a big fan of themed restaurants in general as they tend to get really cheesy really fast. There's swords and bits of dead animals nailed to the walls, wooden planks in stead of wallpaper and massive wooden tables everywhere but they got the viking theme goining for them. Everything is viking here and the... More

We were not allowed to dine here because we had a group of 8 people with no reservation. It did not look busy and we came in at 545pm. They said we must return after 9pm. Sad we did not experience this restaurant as we are only in town for a few two nights.

if you want to eat (sorry animal lovers) elk sausages, local fresh salmon, moose and raindeer go no further. Great restaurant for family outings, amazing set up and activities for kids (stuffed animals, play vikings helmets, pencils, great kids menu) so adults can enjoy a great meal and have some of the tasty local cocktails (the berry juices with splashes... I was there with my student colleagues with the social programme. I did not expect much, but the salmon I ate was delicious! The sauce and the herbs made the flavour wonderfully rich. The ice cream was ok with a good berry sauce. One downside was that they do not offer any mead.

Arrived and was welcomed by waitress dressed in Viking attire. The whole restaurant is made up like a Viking meal house. Meal was excellent lamb shank and root veggies very tasty. All round good place to go if you visit Turku.

Loved the Viking themed atmosphere and décor. Great place to meet up with friends and family. Restaurant is clean, spacious and has an extensive menu to choose from. The food is really tasty albeit a bit pricey with weird and wonderful taste combinations we thoroughly enjoyed. Not to mention the delicious beers on offer. We definitely recommend this Viking experience... More
