New small restaurant, mixed of finnish and frensh themes. Little too much exceptional servings, maybe.

I am feeling a bit ambiguous about writing this review. "C" has received a "Restaurant of the Year" nomination in 2011, and I'd hear a lot of good things about it before I finally managed to visit it on my birthday this March. Unfortunately, and despite many good individual elements, the evening was a bit of a disappointment.

Original and a bit different food made from mostly organic or local ingredients. The list isn't too long, but there is a nice thought in every dish. Veggie options available. The interior was quite conventional. A table reservation recommended.
Went there alone during a business trip. Great wines, excellent food. Worth every cent. So far the best fine dining restaurant I've tested in Tampere.
One of the best restaurants in Tampere I think. I have had there many times for business lunches, can really recommend the lunch menu (really good value for the money). Last time I went there, they had some kind of local food week, mixing the famous black sausage in almost every dish in a very interesting (and tasty!) way. Fine...

Food was excellent, but service was unbelievable. First she (waitress)pointed our table when our group came in. Then she did not have any suggestions concerning about aperitif or food. She did not say a word during our menu or even asked about would we like to have any dessert. That behavior does not belong to a gourmet restaurant.
Excellent food and service, good wines. A fine dining restaurant, but not too expensive. They have new visions of traditional ingredients, all prepared and served perfectly.
Straightforward decoration, almost perfect service and divine variety of food, even for vegetarians. Worth every cent invested!
Although the atmosphere left nothing to wish for either, the food was just perfect. Tasteful, innovative, beautifully arranged.
Have to admit that our non-vegetarian friend was "only" satisfied with his main course from horse meat, but the appetizers, dessert and side dishes convinced...

We had a three course dinner and everything in it was just perfect. The wines that were recommended for the menu were very good, too. The staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait for the food too long, although the place was almost full.
