Kauppahalli is not so easy to find, but when you find it you will love it. There is the feeling of old time in the building and in the way the small shops work. The selection of food is big, ethnic, organic, vegetable etc. There are bakeries, cafes and many kind of small shops, so you can easily spend an...

Going in through the beautiful old doors in the back street you enter this wonderful place and feel like you have stepped back in time! Its warm, cosy and very welcoming and it just drew me in to investigate. I had visited briefly on a cold day last August and was then struck by the warmth of the place ,...

I visit here often and have always liked the place. It has a nice not-too-busy athmosphere, small cafés and even a hairdresser. Here you can find eco-food, best buns or have a quick lunch in a sushi bar or eating soop.

You get great knowledge of the products and also get some old school service. Great place to buy meat, good cold cuts, cheeses, fish, fresh locally produced vegetables and off...

Here you can buy traditional Finnish groceries, have a lunch or coffee or just chill around and enjoy the relaxed old time atmosphere. Reasonable prices!
Well, if you are from Finland, it's maybe not that interesting, at least if you aren't interested in food :D If you are a foreigner visiting Tampere, you might want to visit for some authentic atmospehere. (Dpn't know if I that sounded the way I meant it to sound, but oh well.)
