You are might be surprised that there is a quality restaurant in a town like Lahti, but there is! We visited Casseli on a Saturday afternoon and ate the lunch menu. Starters we even better than the main course, so remember to taste everything, you won't be disappointed. I ate bass (fresh water, not sea bass) and it was good....

Good food and friendly service near Sibelius Hall and harbour. One of the most recomended place to visit and eat in Lahti.

All I can say about Casseli Ravintola is wow! A gem like this in a small town like Lahti was a welcome departure from the downtown eateries. Some fine dining in nice surroundings in Lahti harbour. The Á la carte lunch (11-15) is good value.
