If you have a special diet and food allergies, I suggest you to avoid this place. Basically the food is good and salads taste fresh, but Gran Delicato does not serve any gluten free bread or pasta, and they are very rude if you even ask them about it. They are also unable to prepare you a special salad with... More

Do you look for a place to have a brunch? :) Then this is the right place you have to visit! They have a best ciabatta, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Actually I checked this cafe from tripadvisor and that's why I dropped by. And the ciabatta sandwich was even better than I expected! I was in the zone and... More

I found this Place via tripadvisor for lunch during my Business Trip. I had the Ciabatta no.8 with a side salad for 11€. Price was quite high, but seems to be normal in Helsinki. Ciabatta was delicious! Would recommend this Place again. But rather take two Ciabatta instead of the side salad.

This was our first meal in Helsinki after a long flight. A good place to relax. The food was fresh, service very good, and atmosphere welcoming and cozy. I had a smoked salmon ciabatta with a mixed salad and my spouse had a ciabatta with eggplant. feta, tomato, and smoked meat along with a mixed salad. We finished with a... More

Located just round the corner from our hotel this cafe was a great find. It's Helsinki so nothing is cheap but here we had two panini / ciabatta with salads and Coke for around €23. There's an English menu just by the till which makes things easier. Service was friendly, food was good, cafe itself is sunny and light so... More

We chose to go here due to other TripAdvisor reviews. Very good place to sit and relax during lunchtime! Great paninis and salads! Plus cosy, bit hipstery atmosphere. Worth recommending.

Do not forget your visit to this fine establishment. Might not be a center-of-town point but well worth a stroll. A good diversity of food, step inside a let your worries wait outside for a while.

Gran Delicato used to be my favourite spot for my morning coffee while living in Helsinki. Now I never miss to visit the coffee shop/restaurant when in town! Originally I got hooked by their very good coffee and friendly and international owner + stuff. I usually have a big latte and a very tasty chapata (be ware not to drip... More

We actually were eating in the Kämp center Gran Delicato, but I didn't find a page of their own. We were staying in the Glo Kluuvi hotel, which is in the same building. And since we didn't have a breakfast booked with our hotel we came here to eat. We loved the parma ham, basil chiabatta - it was so... More

A great stop for a sandwich and a coffee. Look out for the English menu's by the till. Wide range of baguettes and ciabatta's with cheeses, meats and salad. Also has a pasta and soup of the day which are popular with the lunchtime locals. The warren of rooms encourages you to stop and savour, you can curl up with... More
