Table, reserved for two from web portal, was waiting us with the raw bread and first course. We did our home work from the web and had our minds around the "Whole Evening". This Journey started with glass of Blanc de Blanc 1er Cru for the first six courses. Somewhere here the raw bread was taken away from the table... More

The coal chips alone was telling. The food was not only declicious, it was beautiful as well. Very subtle flavors but not bland. The lamb was so well prepared. The ambience was icing on the cake. A true Michelin-rated restaurant.

Been dining 4 times in OLO Ravintola. Last time was in their new venue (close to the president palace). Venue was modern with beautiful lights Service was perfect without the snob attitude one could imagine from such gourmet place. Dishes were as simple as amazing. We took the long version with 5 glasses of wine matching the dishes. The wines... More

Pekka Terävä's restaurant is located between the Supreme Court and the President's castle. The location shows - the restaurant is for serious business - either for food or lobbying. The dishes are bold and always made of the best available ingredients. However, this means that the food is also relatively expensive (but not "Savoy-expensive"). For lunch, beware the starter, which... More

I strongly recommend Olo to everyone. The food is absolutely delicious and should You are able to enjoy alcohol while dining I recommend for You to take the wine selected for each dish. Went there for a company evening. Surprising and a little austere setting in a covered courtyard but, but what a meal...! Definite competition for other Michelin restaurants. A six course dinner with a large variety of dishes, all subtle in texture and taste. And a different wine for each course. Excellent match. And what was superb was that a colleague... More

I loved it, the intriguing uses of different textures and tastes and differing ways of presenting the food at each course. My husband, on the other hand, ( not a fan of the degustation dining) felt it was a little pretentious and the portions extremely small. If you would like an interesting dining experience, then OLO is the way to... More

If you are looking for the best fine dining restaurant in Helsinki this is the place to go. Food was really good as you would expect and staff was nice without being too "important". We took the whole package that includes everything you could need expect the cheese platter. We got about 15-20 courses and were very happy with our... More

You should be hungry and have time for a culinary experience when visiting the new Olo for lunch. We were a party of 4 that went for the 4 course lunch set menu. In the bright and nice new location for Olo we truly enjoyed the food and a very nice and crispy Spanish Sauvignon Blanc recommended by the friendly... More

Olo has been a favorite before it became a true fine dining restaurant and it still is. The previous place (now known as Emo) was more straightforward, this present one definitely is not. The "full journey" - as they call it - comes with several surprises, even more "oh my god, what in heavens is this divinity" -moments and just... More
