Want Finnish food? This is a place to go. One of my most often visited restaurants in Helsinki. Food is a bit salty and greasy but so is Finnish food. Great staff, very friendly. Lunches are reasonable price and a la carte isn't bad either.

This is one of the best places where to enjoy traditional Finnish food. Simple and semi-cozy ambient, good service. All in all it's a place to try when in Helsinki.

I took meatballs because I wanted a really finnish dish. Well, it was pretty bad. No taste at all. Even with a simple dish you should be able to elevate it somehow when you have to pay almost 17€.

A restaurant where you'll be sorry you finished your plate, because the food is so good. Lovely service and the atmosphere is unique.

Do you want to return to the sixties and enjoy superb finish food, this is the place. Not a restaurant where they spent thousands of € on the interior. They spent money on doing what they are good at even better, serving finish traditional food with some french touché. The best "Strömming" I've ever tasted.

According to our Lonely Planet guide, this is an excellent place to eat authentic Finnish food. We agree. The menu has plenty of choice for all tastes including several fish and meat entrées as well as numerous starters and a small range of desserts. I ordered herring which was delicious and plentiful - make sure you are hungry before you... More

An artist haunt since 1934, this restaurant is well known amongst the people of Helsinki. I wanted to go to a restaurant that served authentic Finnish food, and so my friend from the city took me here. I was not disappointed. I ordered the reindeer steak which was full of flavor and delectable. Cooked to perfection and a decent amount.... More
