Again a very nice restaurant in Helsinki. Service is efficent and very stylish. People are friendly and the room is really beautiful. The wine list is stunning, with rare and affordable wines. Food is classic, less inventive as in Chez Dominique and Demo, but of a very high quality. more
Who would think near the harbor of Helsinki ther wiuld be a restaurant with a micheline star. What a surprise. Come to think of it I should have known by the window box. There were strawberries in them. I ordered cream of morel soup...just wonderful..It was served with grainy bread. My next course was goat cheese broiled on crisp bed... more
That about sums it up. The food is pretty nice, honestly. Of a sort of Finnish bistro-type, it tastes clean, fresh and honest. Portions are good. But they fall down badly on desserts - like every other restaurant in Finland. It's as though they cannot comprehend the concept. Dessert? What? After dinner coffee needs improvement as well. excellent service. the food is really good also as a michelin star restaurant should have. you can find some superb finnish national dishes there more
Weekend all-you-can-eat herring buffet is delicious. Entres are well-prepared, if not inspiring. Molten chocolate cake is an out of Finland experience. Attractive setting, average service. more
