Good food, good service

The food, place, service is good. Anyway, they want to sell a lot of vodka which is really expensive for a Russian restaurant.

We were planning to eat just across the road at Amigos- we hadn't booked and the maitre d'it was having none of it- we hadn't booked and basically get lost! A local chap suggested Saslik. Obviously we hadn't booked here either and were told they were full, then the head waiter said no one was in the presidentii room if... More

Been there for dinner with friends and 2 kids, rooms are not so big and it wasn't very comfortable to be there. Food was good, but service wasn't that great, those people look like they are angry to have a customers. It wasn't really a real Russian food.It wasn't first time there for me, but from long break I see it didn't... Had a business dinner here on a Wednesday night. We were seated in a private dining room for four. Lovely touch. Dinner started with an amuse bouche which was very tasty as well as some Russian sparkling wine (who knew). Appetizers were incredible. We had this sliced pickle thing that was served with sour cream and honest that you mix... More

The menu is all russian and they serve large portions so you might want to share dishes depending on how hungry you are. The blini and "Ivans sword" are highly recommended! They also serve a great "baked alaska".

Had a nice dinner here, ate the chicken Kiev. Food was good, and a lot, really a lot! The top thing though was the ambience and interior of the restaurant. Russian music, old tapestry, lamps and paintings, it felt like stepping into old tsar Russia, just that is worth visit for.

Great decoration, great food, well served and excellent taste. There is life music and you have to eat the blinis. If you have money, try the bear!

We enjoyed the private dining room the Bank. Appetizers were very good and plenty of it. The dinner menu was on the short side but food was prepared to liking Waitress was efficient and she knew her stuff

I truly enjoy the classic Russian decoration and the dishes. Especially, I love their Blinis and oven Ice Cream. Traditionally one should also enjoy different flavored Vodka options that the restaurant has. Overall, I think this is a great restaurant. During busier evening times like in weekends, they may even have live Folk singers.

One Monday in September three of us were in the mood for trying some authentic Russian food. Of the restaurants offering such treats only Saslik was open on Mondays. As we entered we were immediately taken by the truly stunning de'cor. Authentic with the grandeur of old Russia. The background music took us further into the Russian feel. The menu seemed... More
