I ate at Konstan Möljä with my family May 2014. We have read some excellent reviews about this restaurant on Tripadvisor and wanted to try it out. Unfortunately we were not as satisfied with the food, nor with the service. The food was not bad, definitely edible, but all in all the food experience was not something to remember. There... More

Situated in a non food area of Helsinki and offering a fixed price "Finnish feed". Great value but dont expect any green vegetables and expect lots of tourists.

Highly recommend the 18 euro buffet. The food was very good and the husband and wife running the place were very friendly.

I came for a weekend break ahead of a business trip and was looking for cheaper traditional restaurants - this is perfect. The hosts are traditionally dressed (assuming they are husband and wife) and the whole place is decked out like a cabin and dressed with hunting and fishing gear and old photos etc. The small buffet is the perfect... For a 18euro buffet in a city where everything is so expensive this buffet is pretty good! The reindeer tastes awful though..it almost put me off eating reindeer for the rest of my trip.

We stumbled across this small restaurant, quite by accident, & knowing nothing, but finding the menu appealing, went in & asked for a table. What a wonderful surprise, !! The food was fabulous ! Genuine home cooked Finnish delicacies & traditional dishes, served buffet style, with many choices of appetisers & mains. The appetisers included salmon, herring, beetroot, sauerkraut, picked... The food is exactly what we Finns like to eat at home and every dish was absolutely dead on delicious. The restaurant itself is cosy, the staff very friendly and helpful and the price of the buffet is, even though not cheap, definitely not expensive. Totally worth the money. During summer the small restaurant gets very hot, but nothing too... More

All you can eat smorgasbord is usually an immediate turnoff - not here. Friendly, kitsch, busy, cheap - yes. But the food is really good and authentic as far as we could tell. Go early and not really a place to linger but excellent value

Good food, a lot of variety and not expensive. You have to know it to get there, but for sure the experience is worthy. Basic service and very simple decoration, but good buffet with different types of meat and fish. Recommend to book in advance.

Simply the best restaurant I've tried during my year in Finland, and among the very best of my whole life The food is great, very typical and tasty, buffet at-will and not expensive (18€) at all for Helsinki. The place has also a nice atmosphere with its wooden furniture and decoration with fishing and sailing tools. Special mention for the... More
