Fazer Cafe is very traditional in Finland. There are many kinds of cakes (sweet and salt), and some snacks in the Finnish style. It could be a good choice for hanging out with friends anytime.

Visited their cafe and where you can buy their chocolate. I sampled their milk chocolate bar. Good but not great. Had the chocolate covered mints. Good but not better than we have in the US. I tried the small bar that is white chocolate on top of dark chocolate with some strawberry crisp inside. This was different and very good.... More

You may also have lunch or dinner but the main purpose should be sweets. Pastries, cakes, pies, chocolate and candies. You will love them.

This is a nice place to take a break at when you're visiting Helsinki. The coffees and desserts are very good.

If you like chocolate, this is the place to visit i Helsinki. But beware, during the weekend is very busy both by international and domestic tourist. It's not a cafe where you just pass by that have a quick cup of coffee. Take your time and be prepared there is a waiting line to be seated. Service is okay and... More

I don't consider my visit to Helsinki decent if it doesn't include coffees and cakes in this lovely cafe. My latest experience of the treats of Fazer's is from August 2014. I have to say that their carrot cake was absolutely delicious! If you're new in town or have never been to this place I strongly recommend trying. Btw, in... More

Late in the afternoon, food offerings indicated the cafe must have had quite a busy day as there wasn't too much still available. Quite a number of patrons still there. Ordered a coffee which came with a free small chocolate lolly. The coffee was to my liking, a large cup with a decent amount of coffee. For the sized cup... More

This place is a-must-do when I visit Helsinki. Its easy find, not to long from the ferrys to Sweden. The big, beautiful, shiny FAZER-sign over the entrance promises an interior of something much more classic-retro-look than one will find inside, but It's ok. Service is quick and very friendly. Pastries are appealing of course, and the food (light meals, like... More

We stopped for tea and pastries. The Menorca cake was delicious, highly recommendable. It is a good stop if you are visiting downtown Helsinki. Prices are reasonable for finnish standards. A few tables are available outside but there seems to be no service.

We went for lunch and enjoyed their soups very much. I had the carrot ginger soup and my friend had the salmon soup. Both were excellent. The salads, sandwiches and smørrebrød looked beautiful and fresh but we weren't hungry enough to try them. They also have a large shop area where you can buy candies and chocolates. In addition to...
