Must Do Coffee Place

First try of Finnish café scene. Great coffee and a selection of food and pastries. The chocolate, I thought, was to die for. Not too sweet like other commercial brands. Really enjoyed the experience and walking distance from hotel which made it even better. Visited more than once.

My boyfriend and I had a breakfast here. We were expecting a great experience as it has been rated as one of the best places for brunch in Helsinki. We were very disappointed because tho the food was good, it was nothing special and worst of all the place was very crowded and noisy. Buffet items were constantly out and... More

Lovely and historic candy shop and cafe. Nice story about Karl Fazer and how he came to establish a successful chocolate business in Helsinki even though his father wanted him to go into the fur trade. Very appealing displays that give one the definite "kid in a candy store" feeling. Cute Moomintroll souvenir boxes and other nicely packaged treats that... More

I found it by accident on a side street when exploring the neighbourhood, is a self service sandwich bar along with a coffee bar and cakes, I had no idea what I ordered as my pick was looking nice, don't speak the language of Finland hence pointed out on the cake so I was given, very rare but absolutely tasty... This is the quintessential Finnish franchise. Nice chocolates and sandwiches. The pastries could be better, but hey, the hot chocolate and coffee makes up for it. Avoid the starbucks and experience this fun place.

The Karl Fazer cafe is based around the popular Finnish chocolate, Fazer chocolate. It is very iconic in Finnish culture and you must try it if visiting. Not only does the cafe sell chocolates, but it does typical Finnish dishes, pastries, sandwiches and snacks. The cafe is quite upmarket, so be prepared to pay a higher price tag than a... More

Coffee, ice Cream and chocolate is nice but interior so old and plain boring and so oldfashion with no fantacy. Finland is so know for design, why not to let some young designers to help with the interior and get the place an uplift interiorwise to match the Brand of Carl Fazer quality chocolate?

While taking an evening walk around Helsinki we stumbled across the Fazer cafe, knowing how the chocolate is so nice we popped in for hot chocolate and tea, being that it was minus 3 outside it was needed ! Beautiful Art Deco setting with stunning features and and lighting, well laid out casual coffee shop to the front and more... More

My experience at the Fazer Cafe in Helsinki has been 100% positive. I had a slice of spiced chocolate mousse cake, which also had a small chocolate macaron on top (such a win-win situation), which was totally amazing, and a cup of coffee. (after purchasing the first cup of coffee you can refill it for free!) I also bought a... More

We absolutely wanted to try out the legendary Karl Fazer Cafe in the heart of Helsinki. We love Fazer sweets, so we expected the most from the place. The cakes are really good, but they are nothing that you won't find in the better cafes and confectionery shops around the European capitals. The cafe type drinks and the cakes are... More
